  • You can almost see the awesomeness flowing out of his horn in this picture.

Performance magnifica! Obrigada, por esse momento!

    Maga-Lee :-))

  • Jazzart - thanks as usual for a great posting - one of my favourite standards but played by CB to an amazing level-david

  • A shame that many of the other guys in jazz were womanizers, drunks, drug addicts and used foul language, none of which Clifton Brown did, and he ended up dying so young. Anyone who knows will tell you, this was one of the most well-mannered young men they ever met. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about him.

  • @speakwhnspkn2 Who cares? They sound great. I believe Wynton said himself, "Clifford never did no drugs or got drunk. He maybe smoked a joint every now and then, but you know, no real drugs." Just saying... womanizing is bad ok, but what they did with their personal lives doesnt affect their musicianship much obviously, so I dont know why people make such a point out of that.

  • @speakwhnspkn2 wow you must know a lot about him when you call him Clifton..

  • @speakwhnspkn2 When did I bring race into this? All i'm saying is you called him Clifton..his name is Clifford.

  • @speakwhnspkn2 wow you must know lots about him if you call him Clifton

  • This guy stirs the soul. I have never heard trumpet playing like this.

  • Thank you

  • This kind of music reminds a time I did not live but I do feel since I heard it for the first time

  • wow, no words can describe how amazing this is. shame everyone has forgotten about this kind of music, but what can you do...

  • Clifford's technique and sound were just awesome. I can't help but wish he had lived longer so I could selfishly listen to more of his recordings. Brown got down.
