If someone reverts to Islam,We pray that he\she will actually practice it because staying on the right path is difficult without keeping contact with Allah through prayer , supplication and other deeds of worship. Restraining from evil desires and actions just to please ALLAH is not easy for everyone. @Bahj9066 I agree that new reverts especially in this society are tested more, it makes a huge difference to have support from close family friends or even those from a local masjid. not many people get that luxury of support, but inshallah they stay strong, i pray for them also, that allah make it easy for them and grant those around them hidaya.

I'm not exactly sure how the trinity doesn't make sense, but a god sending a message to mankind through a 40-year-old merchant while alone in a cave 1,400 years ago does. @Ashmis86 Being a salafi or memorizing the full of Quran can never mean you are a perfect Muslim, the Khawarij were the most people whom memorized the whole Quran and they killed the companion of the prophet "Ali" -go be satisfy on him - and those who killed the Imam hussein the same , so understanding Islam is not really memorizing Quran but understanding it and follow the sunnah of the prophet

Plus, who can judge if anyone left Islam because they disbelieved or because they are after some worldly gain? "Only lashes for zina when you are not married, stoning to death if you are married." I am also surprised that you see justification in corporal punishments in the 21st century.

Bukhari (52:260) and "The blood of a Muslim who confesses that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that I am His Apostle, cannot be shed except in three cases: In Qisas for murder, a married person who commits illegal sexual intercourse and the one who reverts from Islam (apostate) and leaves the Muslims." Bukhari (9:83:17). I believe you're holding a minority opinion.

@Ashmis86 there is a whole legal process, and the death penalty is only used if they changed their religion not because they actually disbelieve, but for some worldly gain, and if they dont repent, then there is death penalty, but if they actually changed religion there is no death penalty. only lashes for zina when you are not married, stoning to death if you are married.
And there has to be like 4 witnesses who see penetration who are trustworthy, and its only if you dont repent.

I'm not exactly sure how the trinity doesn't make sense, but a god sending a message to mankind through a 40-year-old merchant while alone in a cave 1,400 years ago does. Anyway, all I want to say is that you should be careful because if you leave Islam, especially in a Muslim-majority country, you might get the death penalty or at least a prison sentence. Take care.
