AHAHAHA thats such bull and notice how they didnt show the radar gun when the yz went and my 2011 kx450f runs 127 top speed and pro's race the same bike i have so 127 compared to 33.... NO match bitchess... and i have a yzf250 too and top speed runs 90 sooo im defently sure 34 is bull shit and other pros race the same bike i have so 33 compared to 90.... still no match bitchess!!!! they prolly named that shit bike zero cuz it aint goin no where... zero mph!! haha
Electric cars and bikes are getting better but the bigger point is that electricity still comes from dirty sources. Wind, nuclear and water is good but half of energy comes from coal. I think until we fix the real problem these will never be the answer.
what you suppose to d owhen your out for a camping trip and that battry dies in a day. when all your friends are filling up there tanks for another day your sitting there charging your battry from your car...
I think the whole idea is really cool. Comparing a Zero with a gas-powered bike is silly though. I wouldn't ever want a 'real' dirbike, but I'd love to zoom in the trails on an electric bike. Different strokes... etc.
The zero has a removable battery so you can bet that in a few years that will double or maybe go over the 100mpcharge, add to that the decreased charge tim, rising oil prices and it looks like a really good alternative
haha apparently the rider doesn't know what second gear is either. You shift up, not down. What a spode. Plus, who the hell wipes out in a straight line? Get some better riders.
This is off the f'n hook and this is only the beginning, with the price of gas and battery and engine technology getting better all the time, soon you'll all be riding one!
junk.....gonna be a while before they can make an electric that can compete with a 450. I'm pretty sure people that ride actually enjoy the sound of an engine too....I know I do.
at the end they called the guy a motocross legend. Are u serious? that guy had to be told how to take off and that bike could go faster if you didn't put a goon on it
its direct drive, there is no clutch/gears/transmission. You just go, plus the power band is wider than the gas version... its a flat torque curve, max torque at 0 rpm.

The super-moto or DS verison would be cool to ride around in or just go to work/school. Great stuff IMO.

I'd use it as a pit bike, but wouldn't even consider using it as a race bike.

I know, he wasn't even throttlin right for the stright away, the rpm's stayed way too low.
it would suck for more electric bikes to come out.
but this zero x is still awesome.

Yeah, I think things are starting to happen now. It looks like the electric vehicle industry is growing faster than ever before.
