@Nightmare7454 Nah man. I know that it was on PS2 (I owned all 3 games.) But, with the amount of HD remakes going on (Especially with Devil May Cry) you would think they would remake this one. IMHO, it's one of the best series on the PS2 (Right up there with Devil May Cry, and Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3 on the PS2). So, yeah, I honestly think they should remaster this in HD, and slap it on a blu-ray and put it on the PS3!

@TokenssRS the fourth onimusha didnt feel like an onimusha game to me. dont get me wrong i enjoyed, but not as much as the first three. in the fourth game they shouldnt have had nearly as many weapons as there were, i remember in previous onimusha games id get a new weapon and id be excited to see what it could do, but in the fourth game all the weapons seemed generic. also tenkai was like the lame version of samanosuke. and the rest of the supporting character were not as good as the onimusha 2

onimusha 2 was my favorite, then the third, first and finally the fourth. onimusha 2 added role-playing elements like giving gifts to influence which characters liked you, while keeping the gameplay pretty much the same as the first with a few tweaks. the third threw out the role-playing elements, but improved gameplay and there was two playable main characters. the first introduced samanosuke and crossed the action genre with survival horror. the fourth was based heavily on action.

Well, considering that Nobunaga was the first unifier of Japan, and got his ass kicked, then Hideyoshi came along, and got pwnd by Soki. Next are Mitsunari and Ieyasu. So, a 5th Onimusha has to happen, since it would fully complete the story.

I say Onimusha Dawn Of Dreams was the best game. Gameplay wise, the latter was perfect. And also the story was the perfect end to the series. (With "Soki" doing something which...)

Anyway, "Samanosuke" was actually in Onimusha Dawn Of Dreams. He was "Tenkai".
