This school is near where I live and I saw the production. My friend goes there and said that they bought the rights to the show and actually communicated with MTI on how the script was cut. Apparently, the director didnt like the way it was formatted and took a few liberties. Either way, I still thought that this was great for a highschool production and it was awesome for them to try to have the real experience of a broadway show.

It may be a high school's production, but if it is technically the high school edition, they broke major copywright laws. Adding a verse back in that was cut and stealing all the original choreography...

this is girl is good. but the regular rent is way better. they have to take out, and change so much for it to be appropriate. If u can't do rent the way it was, forget it! I know people prolly disagree, I mean if u did do rent taking out contact, thats understandable, but anything else... :P not good. I'm sorry.
