Oh, there was much more to it than just going up and down as the video depicted. The time spent in the canopy was quite a bit longer, as with all climbs in the Giant Spruce. The ascent and descent are the shortest. The time in the upper canopy is another thing all together.
I understand your feelings. I have many recordings of this Giant Spruce. Of which many are in the canopy. Sorry for your disappointment on this one.
I think they could have rappeled a bit slower...lol.
Nice vid, looks like a beautful day, but the day I start rec climbing spruce trees is a day I am far too bored for my own good. I just dont see the 'fun' in going straight up to come straight back down. thanks for the vid all the same Gerry.
