Absolute and total nonsence. Women need to stop thinking of childbirth as some beautiful pseudospiritual experience and see it for what it is....messy, painful and about 1 thing - getting a healthy baby into the world. You do whatever you need to in order to make this happen and if that is medical intervention, drugs or whatever you do it. I'm speaking as a father to 2 healthy girls
