I respect Peter Criss for his contributions to Kiss 1973-1980 but when I hear this I understand why they changed drummer the following year ! He is not good enough for kiss anymore. Why is that so hard to admit ? And I don´t understand the people who is screaming for his comeback today.

1. Eric Singer is one of the best currently active rock drummers in the world and a worthy replacement.

2. Peter is 66 today. No drummer in the world has the pshysics to be able to tour the world at that age.

IMHO, skill-wise Eric Singer is the best drummer KISS has had, but that's to be expected because he was a seasoned pro before he ever joined KISS. Eric Carr comes in a decent second and Peter Criss a fairly distant third, but Criss is an original and I definitely don't think Singer should be wearing his makeup... nor should he wear Carr's Fox makeup as I have heard some people suggest. They should create a new character for Singer instead.

see this is what I say, i disagree with him being the catman for there is only one catman, however people shouldnt hate because of that, he is a great drummer in his own right and some people dont see that just because of the make up which is very silly.

Singer is a better drummer, Criss was made for Kiss. Criss has brought way more to Kiss than Singer. Actually singer and Thayer have caused Kiss to lose fans. In my opinion the best kiss member ever is ace

I don't either and I'm a die hard Beatles fan. I have been a Beatles fan whole my life and will probably be a fan for the rest of my life to. But people talks about that bands without a original member or two isn't a real band. Kiss is now, by my opinion, at it's best. People loves Iron Maiden, but only one of six is an original member. Personally I hate Iron Maiden, not because of their lineup but because of their music.
