  • i love your work!!

but i do have a question, when you use the mineral spirits, does it only work on stamped images, or can you draw your own image, outline it, color it, and then use the mineral spirits?

    thank you

  • @animefreak7918

That is a great question. I can't draw to save my life (!!) which is why I use stamped images, but if you draw with a pen with ink that is waterproof/resistent then it might work. Try a few test samples like drawing a circle and color it with pencils and the oms and see if it smudges.

  • @nkirk100 oh okay. but do you think the result would be the same if you use normal printer paper?

  • @animefreak7918

No, I would not use normal printing paper for any of my crafts. I generally use cardstock when I color - there are many different types of cardstock available, most of them work great with pencils and mineral spirits. Printing paper is to thin and flimsy for what you are suggesting.

  • Nice.. how do you store the mineral spirits?

  • @scrapin2010 I pour a small amount of mineral spirits in a small jar that I found in the craft store in the air brush paints section. These jars are intended to store air brush ink when they are not in use. I have heard that other people use baby food jars to keep the mineral spirits in.

  • @nkirk100 Thank you very much....

  • Thanks!
