  • I miss my jeep grand cherokee. You can't beat a jeep in snow.

  • And for some reason, people in Ohio wonder why us Michiganders think you drive like assholes in the snow. I've had snow up to my hood and made it to work before the plows hit the roads in my Cherokee on too many occasions to count.

  • or what

  • im sure that has aux use that not ur mp3 player and get a sub u rich prick you children will thank you lol

  • dude... I take on snow like this in montana with my impala

  • you have no idea how to drive in snow... lmao

  • @1ownjoo2 it did it from being wot, cold and in reverse. Possible that his jeep has another problem.

  • At 0:19 you can here him putting it into low gear. The noise is from it being in low gear not the tranny. Nothing is wrong. I am unsure why he put it in low gear though. Your never suposed to WOT in low. (Lucky mine did not piss on me when I did that.) lol

  • Dont ever underestimate a Jeep. haha

  • I live in Ohio too!!!

  • wow...very whiney, let it warm up next time

  • im guessing thats the V6 version cause i have the same car with a V8 and it doesnt sound anything like that but i could be wrong :)

  • @ProgressionFilms

I'm thinking it was the 5.7 Hemi, the 3.7 liter v6 sounds nothing like that

  • @Mrjmoyer78 the reason that it sounded like that is most is because the tranny jumped into a lower gearing ratio for the 4x4, couple that with the low gearing of reverse and any engine will sound like its battery powered

  • @brustypipe HUH? I don't believe I said anything about battery powered....I had a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it had the 4.7 V8...never sounded like that and we took it out in deep snow all the time....must be the Commanders....they aren't known for being built well

  • @Mrjmoyer78 im just making fun of the sound

i meant no offense by that

  • @brustypipe

hey dude....sorry...wasn't offended.....I just was kinda slow there...didn't get what you were sayin'.....LOL...no need to apologize, that was my fault

  • @Mrjmoyer78 Commander is based on the Jeep Grand Cherokee. It is identical mechanically. Just a different body. Same NAG1 tranny, Quadradrive II system, engine, suspension ect. Just more loaded and more cargo.

  • @Mrjmoyer78 Also you can hear him engage the 4low at 0:19 in the video.

  • Its because he is in a Jeep

  • I have a 2001 Chevy Suburban and we did the same exact thing no shovelin the driveway this year

  • Might i ask...

    were those earbuds?

  • Awesome!!!

  • Im going to go with other people and say that whining sound was either your transmission or your tires making that noise when they reached the pavement. Im going to go with the tranny, did you ever let it warm up for like 10 minutes before you decided to full throttle it in reverse ? When it whines like that its cold..

  • @1ownjoo2 0:19 he puts it in 4WD low. You can hear it. Its not the tranny.

  • hemi ??

  • was this in columbus? i think i remember that

  • nice video but whats the whining sound?

  • @dkia09 He was in 4low. You can hear the transfer case at 0:19 in the video. :)

  • @dkia09 4low. It engages at 0:19 in the video.

  • @GmTruckCarLove

Well i have 2 Jeeps and i've never had mine whining before when i have them in 4 low.

  • Jeeps are great and the simpler, the better. My 1996 JGC Laredo gets me anywhere I want to go. Nothing fancy.....no rear sensors, no fancy electronics......just full time 4x4 traction and a cast iron inline-6 engine that never quits. Great vehicle in snow, mud or boulder busting. Never lets me down.

  • @JackKangaroo1 I have a 1999 WJ that made it through way worse sh!t than this. Older is better. Unfortunately I can't play in the snow this winter, its out of commission.

  • your gonna fuck up your tranny if you keep that up

  • @robby844 um because the engine hasnt had a chance to warm up and your revving it to the redline. that whining sounded like the transmission to me.

  • @comedyguy1262549 how do you know its not to temp yet? it was running before the vid even started.and i never heard redline.and more proof it was warmed up????? the defroster was on dipshit

  • You are a retard if 6" of snow makes you spin the tires in a damn Jeep. Ohio... lol.

  • OH!

  • Pfft, like that would ever stop a Jeep. Maybe a car, but a Jeep, come on.

  • your never gonna make it...(a few pushes later)... :O that was amazing

  • Fucking up your tranny.

  • @Charles2337 how?

  • @robby844

Reverse gear is not made for that.

  • @Charles2337 uh ok if thats what you think.ive pulled numerous people out with reverse ive backed up what i couldnt drive up.reverse is lower so you have more power.

  • @robby844 He was in 4low. That is why it whined. You can hear it engage at 0:19 in the video.

  • @Charles2337 Not tranny but transfer case and possibly the Varilocks. He was in 4low. You can hear him engage it at 0:19 in the video.

  • that was funny "That's right . " hahaha

  • lol you call that snow... theres not even snow on the roofs. post another when you really have snow

  • gimme a break!

  • My "06" Commander got thru the snow with no problems in 25in. of snow this winter.

  • @midnightblujeep Same here. Got through the blizzard just fine here in D.C

  • nice grammar

  • sounds bad

  • I totally agree!!

  • @ShaunDiener It was in 4low. You can hear the transfer case at 0:19.

  • @ShaunDiener He was in 4low. You can here it engage at 0:19 in the video.

  • hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

  • i dont know why ppl on here are saying that their wranglers can make it in one shot and that this commander sucks and shit like that...yall are supposed to be jeep guys/gals. not bash each other because you think your jeep is better. there is always gonna be someone out there with something better.

  • Nah I have an 06 commander 4x4 and I know it could have done it one shot but I think he was making a path and jeep shit never, best there is it gets no better

  • nice jeep but its pretty crap in the snow :L

  • U shoveled snow for crack? lol

  • hahaha

  • not amazing...... :(

  • I coulda done it in 2wd in my wrangler

  • That's how we plow in Colorado too :)

  • man I could have done that in a sentra in one shot without getting stuck thats how we do it out here at the top of new england

  • Nice to know hes already got a fucked transmission.

  • @fangus503 The sound is from it being in 4low. You can here him engage it in 0:19 in the video. You should never WOT in 4low. he should have kept it in normal full time mode. (Quadradrive II is always in 4 high and locks automatically.) lol

  • my bici made to!

  • That's not a challenge for most 4x4's, especially Jeeps. But nice commander you have there! My advice, get a small plow for the front of it and forget the snow blower..

  • see you now what you shoulda done been like honey i got a jeep i can do this in 2wd then i can buy the best snowblower out there haha always good to see a jeep owner use there jeep! 5stars man

  • ur a dumbass nxt time just gun it in reverse and u wont get stuck 3 times in 2feet of snow

  • I guess you show her. GUYS WIN

  • word

  • Not too advisable with the backup sensors. I accidentally backed into a snow drift with my Commander and pooped on of those little sensors out of the bumper. Now it comes loose and goes into alarm whenever you put it into reverse. The bells and whistles sometimes spoil the fun.

  • wow, i'm guessing ur very detail oriented

  • @divisioneight I ripped the bumper off my Commander mudding. (Well only one side.) Well one of the wires came off of the sensor and it said (Service park assist system.) Pluged it back in and it was fine. And most of the clips to put the bumper back on are fine. You can see the bumper misaligned in my video of it. lol

  • you need to get some nobier tires dude.

  • I have a STOCK Jeep Wrangler, 95 and I have 4 low in reverse. And My wrangler would have made that easy in one shit... In 4 HIGH LMAO

  • OK.now that it's spring

  • What was amazing? That was just a dusting!! Hell ive been plowing snow with my front bumper on my Jeep...what the hell was that? Why would u put this on youtube? My Jeep is stock to

  • Then put a video on here of ur great snow adventures in ur stock jeep

  • That's me every winter with my trusty ol' Cherokee...only got stuck once (went off the road into a ditch and had to get pulled out by a Ford).

  • That's amazing? No... that's Jeep!

There is four low in reverse...

  • Yes, yes, well I can tell you if that commander was facing the other way 'round it would have made it out in one shot, (there's no 4-low in reverse)

  • @mhatsko There is 4low in reverse. He engaged 4Low in 0:19 on the video. I have one I know this.

  • @GmTruckCarLove wow 2 years ago I don't even remember writing that, I was just going by how my 2001 grand is, I don't have 4 low in reverse, but I'm pretty sure my jeep could've made it out a bit easier than that commander ;)

  • @mhatsko Depends. Quadradrive II is a better system. Commander is nothing more than a re bodyed GC.

  • i loved ohio :D becouse i will start the university in here

  • hehe I did almost the same in Turkey with my Liberty 3.7L [2003](it's called Cherokee in Turkey).. The snow wasnt such as deep as here but it ''blowed'' it self out of 1ft snow.. Thats why Jeep rocks!

  • That was amazing...OMG

  • Now you got the Jeep out of the way for your wife to shovel...

  • LOL - u probably ain't married, i'm gonna guess

  • just bought a 06 black one but cant figure out how to use the back window wiper lol. they kick ass though

  • Its on the same stick as the front wipers, but its inset a bit to the left.. rotate the right end of the stick for front wipers, then move over to the left for back wiper.

  • Read the owners manual then.

  • AHAHAHA nice one

  • ''thats amazing''lol

  • I love Jeep! Great Video!

  • Your wife must have confused the Jeep with one of those sissy Hummers or Toyotas. Now that you are out of your driveway - you can go pull all the neighbors out of theirs. You should check out a Jeep Jamboree near you and really see what that thing can do!

  • Yeah now that's more my style... on the beach!! Nice video.

  • nice job, but you haven't seen snow like here at fort drum ny. i drove our jeep thru at least 3 1/2 ft of snow.lol. it's a great suv!

  • Yeah I don't want to see more snow either, lol. If this is biggest challenge I ever have with snow in my life I'll die a happy man.

  • Well he made it.

  • that is why i own a Jeep!

  • Nice, i think your wife forgot, that it is a JEEP!
