The singer sounds like a cross between Bjork and Kate Bush (I'm much more of a Kate Bush fan, however. I think the depth of her material and the range of her talents beats any female artist past or present.).

Bat for Lashes is just Natasha Khan, the backup band changes. You'll notice the band on her recent Jimmy Fallon performance is different from this one. It's kind of like how Nine Inch Nails is just Trent Reznor, even though there is a band for live performances.

Lovely looking singer BUT i am dissapointed. They are a getting a lot of attention from the media and this brought them to my attention...trouble is detect very little talent and zero originality. They seem keen on a lot of 80's music but their 'Cure' and 'Eurythmic' covers are so flat and feeble that it makes me wonder how anyone could ruin such good songs so badly! If Bat For Lashes slipped into a time tunnel 'n ended up in the 80's they would get nowhere - of that i'm certain!
