Nor do they knowingly conceal incidents of clerical sex abuse, as Sheen did.

As to the sex abuse incidents, they are a matter of public record.....which the OD linked folks in charge of Sheen's canonization have ignored.....

@19lfm12 How did he live in splendor? All payments from his salary was given directly to the church, and provided numerous support to poor nations without life's essentials. Opus Dei is under direct supervision and control of the pope, not the church; but Bishop Fulton Sheen received support for these broadcasts from even his early radio-casts through the financial support of the catholic bishops conferences. Whether or not he received support from Opus Dei is besides the point anyway.

2) What you say of his salary is a LIE. Persons in NYC & Rochester are well aware of his overt duplicity

3) NO - his radio/tv shows were funded by persons & groups tied to Opus Dei.

4) OD is the 'Monster' foretold by Marie-Julie Jahenney & Anna Katerina Emmerich in 100% coherence with Scripture & the words of Mary.

He concealed the abuse from his ecclesial superiors AND law enforcement, & called the abuse victims a "slut". Doing nothing to help the victim.

...and there were other victims whose abusers he was privy to & in the loop of the cover-up.

@MGR1900 Learn how to read & process information. In the initial comment I made it clear that Sheen had personally witnessed & concealed clerical sex abuse. He caught one of his subordinates in the act, did not report it to law enforcement, & covered it up. He also called the victim a 'slut'. He did nothing to console or counsel the victim, who is still living. Sheen was also aware of & participated in the coverup of other abuse as an auxiliary bishop of NY.
