  • yah whoops

  • Are you getting and binding of the table when you use the step hold blocks? I can't seem to get them tight enough to hold the stock secure without putting the X axis in a bind and losing steps. I have some tool plate I am going to make a table top with tap holes etc hopefully that will stiffen things up.

  • No, that hasn't happened to me. I make very light cuts, and usually only use aluminum, plastic, or wood, so I don't have to hold very tightly. That said, it is a very light-duty mill, so you can't expect too much out of it. "Real" mills are steel, and iron, and such, whereas Sherlines are almost entirely aluminum. Maybe you can loosen up the gib slightly on the X axis to compensate?

  • lol still a goog cnc where did you get it

  • did you forget to tighten the toe clamps or was it a programming error

  • I forgot to tighten the clamps. I was that excited :)
