i like the fact that the screen responds when you press a button it saves you from wondering if you've actually pressed it and often i find that if i press a button again that i've opened a different window, but not with this phone.

hi when i google this phone, sometimes a different one comes up which is gray, and has a silver button instead of a black one. i don't really like THAT phone but i do like this one! it's the cousin to the glyde because they're available in different areas. some ppl hate it and they say it becomes spoit but that's just their fault for making it bad and not looking after it properly!

This phone is very nice but you get bored with the size and the fact that sometimes the touch screen doesn't respond. The camera's alright and the QWERTY keyboard is a good feature, so overall I would give it 7.5/10!!! It's just because that when I got this phone, about 7 months after I got bored with it and wanted a new handset.

i had viewty its cool and stuff but what i didnt like is the camera it was so crap specially indoors only filming was very very good but photo mode was bad for sure its very simple to use no speacial things about it only cool looking i sold it anyway after aa week im thinking of gettinf the samsung now f700 i like the keyboard cause you get sick of toush sreen when u text

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it. It's a nice phone but it's not worth the price. I'm forcing myself to like the phone because I spent so much money on it. I wish I would have stuck with the Nokia 6263 but nooooo...I just had to have the F700. Big mistake.

Yes, you can lock the phone. The lock feature is on the side of the phone.

Also, the Samsung Glyde's keyboard doesn't have any navigation keys...you have to use the touch screen for everything. The Glyde is also a bit smaller than the Sumsung F700.

Verizon now carries the Samsung Glyde. I purchased an unlocked Samsung F700 three months ago on eBay and I'm using it on T-Mobile's service. Samsung Glyde and the F700 are basically the same phone but you cannot use the Samsung Glyde with only any wireless carrier but Verizon because it's a CDMA phone. I have an unlocked GSM Samsung F700 and I can use it with any GSM carrier(T-Mobile/AT&T).

What Tmobile services did you get for this phone? For the instant messenging services, did you need to purchase TMobile Internet in order to use the applications or would the provided Tzones WAP service suffice?

I have the Nokia 6288 unlocked and I have trouble using features other than simple SMS text and picture messenging. Is it because of TMobile's lack of the 3g network? I'm considering the F700 but would like to be able to make the most out of the phone if I decide to get it. Thanks!

it costs £300 for vodaphone pay as you talk and a minimum of £20 a month for contract but the phone itself is free with the contract. I myself got a free gift of some headphones worth a further £100 :S
