He needed a little more dance vocabulary,he was getting older though,he's close to 50 here,Michael Jackson may have more dance vocabulary,but no one can beat James brown at HIS thing. JB is my favorite and The Famous Flames, James trio backing vocals.

Special info: the first clip of JB with Bootsy, Phelps etc. was recorded May 5th 1970"Sex Machine" was recorded on April 25th, 1970 but not released til a few months later. that explains the similar arrangement.

The guitar riff played here on "Give It Up Or Turn It Loose" was the acknowledged basis for the later "Sex Machine."
