But Israel will need to sacrifice again for peace.

That simply is impossible to believe, unless you've only been watching the news since 2006. Hamas killed and attacked THEIR OWN PEOPLE when they pushed Fatah (a co-governing party) out of Gaza. Up until that point, Mid East peace efforts had been (slowly, I admit) advancing. Meaning towards a manageable peace. Even if you argue that the peace would not have been on Palestinian terms, it would have been a step. Hamas caused the blockade and condemned the Gazan people to poverty.
