A great factual address by GOP's Roberts! Obama is very unlikely to win his party's nomination in 2012, much less a second term. Providing voting rights to illegal immigrants is Obama's only hope, and that's not a guarantee anymore. Expect more destruction of America before January, 2011 by the democrats. Romney will not be the candidate for one reason. People see his utter failure with Romneycare. I don't have a clear picture on who will be the candidate, but just about anyone we throw up there will defeat Obama for many reasons.

I also think that America has had enough of the 'young and fresh' crap in the Obama Administration, and will opt for someone more seasoned and vastly more qualified. Hillary fits this, but, they're also looking for someone to balance the budget.

Most public approval polls have him at 42-46

The 20% that is mad because he's not extreme enough is 20% of liberals, which amounts to roughly 4% of the population.

Assuming actual Republicans and independents equal 50% of the country, this jibes with public opinion polls that 54+% dislikes Obama, and reveals that may be edging truly toward 60%

Now, these 60% definitely will vote conservative.

It's your numbers that don't add up.

ABC News/Wash Post Poll of 7/11 has him at 50%

CBS News Poll of 7/12 has him at a statistical tie or 50%

Time Magazine Poll of 7/13 has him at 49% plus ½ margin of error, or 50%

RCP Poll Average is 47% plus ½ margin of error, or 50%

Plus the 23% dissatisfied liberals who will vote Dem.

Do I need to go on? When reading poll data I have found information to support my claims. Why do you fail to state specific polls in your post?

@btc8128 - You're distorting the stats by adding margin of error. You have to remember that the margin of error may go against you as well, so don't add it in to distort your numbers.

If you want to talk about dishonor, how about skewing the data using the margin of error that COULD POSSIBLY go against you as well as for you. If I did what you did, your numbers would MATCH mine!

@btc8128 - Obama has lost his base of independent voters. They voted for him 4 to 1 in 08 and will vote against him 2 or 3 to 1 in 12. Any republicans that voted for Obama will not vote for him again. So far, I have indicated the loss of over 20 million voters.

Many moderates are finding Obama to be too far to the left, and moderates in general stand to vote roughly 2 or 3 to 1 against Obama. I think Obama has lost 30 million voters. Thus, Hillary is a stronger candidate. You heard it here first
