i've never played morrowind... but everytime i hear this song... chills stricke through my body, and the hair on my arms raise! i'm saying... I LOVE THIS!!!!
Some people like morrowind, and some oblivion. I started playing TES at Oblivion, and love the game. I've had limited playtime of Morrowind, so I can't say much about it. I hope to play it soon.
@Cendeu I liked Morrowind for its otherworldly setting and for breaking the Tolkien-esque mould that pretty much every western RPG falls into. The island of Vardenval was a strange, alien place full of bizaar creatures and dreamlike locations. I reccomend tracking down a game of the year edition, perhaps on steam or the budget section of a game store and playing it, just for the experience. Granted the game has not aged well, but its still worth a look I think
@weldonwin It's worth more than one look. I've easily spent 3000 hours in it, and a friend of mine have spend 12000 hours playing it, and we both still do today.
@coldfire2143 I must have spent months playing this game, without doing the main quest. Hell, I didn't actually know there really WAS a main quest untill about four months of just wandering the island. I'd just get home from school, boot up the game and take a look at the hard-copy map that came with it, pin-pointing where I was with real map reading skills (No compass pointers back then) and decide where I was going today. I was making my own quests and having a blast doing it.
Vast and inviting. This is the first song you'll hear when playing the game. And it will rise every now and again to let you know your adventure is just beginning.
JEREMY SOULE!! One of my all time favourite composers! He composed the music for the Neverwinter Series, so, for that alone he is one of the best in my eyes. Regrettably I never played the Elder Scrolls.
@Jonijonh Go buy it, its fairly cheap considering how long its been out, i would 1000% recommend this game, great story line, plenty of customizeation weapons armors, and last but probably teh most fun one, massacreing everyone when your bored. :D
@DFDelta I still disagree >.> I always found it boring as heck. There are older games that are more interesting. Take Might and Magic 8. It may lack story, but hey, it was fun :D
@DFDelta Yeah! It reminds me of when I was younger, dad used to play while I watched -- he finished the game too! Maybe I should try it again... XD XD XD
@DFDelta There's one crappy thing, tho. The fucking combat system. You slice your enemies a hundred times and even though you hit, it only deals damage one time out of 30.
Aww, too short! For some reason, it makes me feel like I'm in an amusement park. You know when you walk through different sections of the park and you walk into a new part, different music will start playing? Feels like a world where anything can exsist...
