  • surely isn't turning metal this without the use of screw fed/mounted tools dangerous? You have your fingers awfully close to lacerating metal shavings.

  • I love all your videos. I sent you an email with a couple of pictures of a guard I made for a roughing gouge. I was trying to make the sharping jig I saw on one of your videos and sorta got side tracked. The PVC can be heated to fit over the gouge or it might just be a perfect fit like it was on mine. I cut a slit in it and glued in the plexiglass. Then cut another slit so it would fit over the gouge nice an tight. I figured you could get this out to more people than me. Thanks again.

  • No, take your time, watch the heat on tools and keep tool rest close to stock.

  • Capt. My lathe's slowest speed is 500 RPM. Is this going to be too fast to turn alumimum?

  • what accent theres no accent , you have the accent. he sounded just fine to me. yall come again ya heah.

  • Fun to watch video! Good job. Is that your woodturning scraper you used? or did you make it just for turning aluminum?

  • another great tip i like the accent by the way
