  • The majority of people in Los Angeles are Latino. I am really bored now with their complaints. I've never met so many racists as I have in LA. I've never seen such Open Corruption as I have in LA. Grab Grab Grab. I am a gardener. I know what it means to till the soil and reap its fruits. Won't be shedding any tears for the whining cry-babies who have so much more than I have, thanks to the fact they've got all the jobs. Listen to the Whine in her voice.

  • Los Angeles is probably the most polluted city in the country. This temple of nature was creating less pollution, improving a severely broken community, and was destroyed in the interest of corruption and greed. She's wrong, poor people DO have a right to clean air, that right is just not honored as it should be. The city should never have sold the land back to Mr. Horowitz without consideration for it's benefits and let him destroy it how they did. What's left now is the hope for change.

  • The "immoral process" used for eviction was created by the confrontational people themselves, and yes, they were squatters. As soon as Horowitz took back the title to his land, they became squatters. If you leave it to the immigrants, they would recreate their impovershed homelands in America with disregard for why America is prosperous in the first place. They need to be weaned from their thrid world mentalities and adapt to our society instead of fighting it and imploding on themselves.

  • My America is not your America, and I'm very much an American.

You obviously have your opinions about people who don't look like you or didn't grow up the way you did. Intolerance is an unfortunate personality trait, especially in America. I will continue to fight such mentalities, but wish you luck in your growth. Did you find out what is currently on this plot of land? I'd really like to know.

  • Homie, I'm from San Bernardino and was raised in this shit and the only intolerance I've shown in my posts is intolerance for reactionary ignorance and disregard for private ownership and the American way. In America, you catch on or fall off and the only way to survive is to own something. Don't make assumptions that my remarks are racist. They're nationalistic, not racist. You can be from Europe and shit on America, and I'll loath you as much as a Mexican that does the same.

  • In answer to your question about what's on the land: There's room for industry on that land at the moment. You want me to say it's just a dirt lot which was a poor trade for the garden that was there, I know. But there will be a business there one day and it will employ people in the community and generate taxable income for the city to support the infrastructure. Now answer this; where have the farmers gone? What did they ultimately end up with and do you feel they deserve what they have now?

  • What's is currently on this plot of land, today? Just wondering.

There's also a farm law that states they had a right to follow through with their harvest. They were not given that right.

They were not squatters, the city had given the farmers permission to use the land.. for over 14 YEARS. Where does YOUR food come from? Why didn't the city do more to help people find alternative places to grow their food? There's a lot more to the story right?

  • Nothing. The land was gifted to the people and thus it was being used. The farm was take down, because of economic and political forces. That isn't too surprising.

  • The land was stolen from Horowitz by the corrupt city council and then given to the community of illegal immigrants because the city was destroyed by its own people and they couldn't do what they originally planned for it and had no better ideas. Horowitz got his land back 100% legally and the community was unable to be civil in the matter so they got what they deserved. Don't come to America to farm on land that you have no title to and cry racism when the party is over. Buy your own land...

  • "Don't come to America to farm on land that you have no title to" Your head must be up your butt. IT IS THEIR LAND DEAR SIR. READ A HISTORY BOOK.

  • Ok give me a second let me check my sources...just a few more seconds...doot da doo...hmmm, it says here that we won the Mexican-American War. Hold on, let me check our law book while I'm at it...yup right here! Private ownership of land allows for the owner to kick squaters out.

  • We don't live our lives solely on what's written in our law books, do we? The process they used to evict these tenants was morally wrong, and we need to recognize that as a society.

  • The eviction process was normal protocol. They got their notice and chose to fight the law. Put yourself in Ralph Horowitz's shoes. His land was forcibly taken from him by the government and then not used for what the initial premise of the eminent domain land confiscation was. The farmers would feel different if they had their farm taken and they actually owned it. When they fought the law, they acted as communists. They acted adversly to free American enterprise and they lost.

  • This "title" you speak of, was made possible through theft. The so called "illegals" you speak of, are the children of the natives of this land. I don't think anyone should be respecting the concerns or wishes of criminals.

  • Wolves and sheep, homie. War wasn't a foreign concept to the indigenous people before they got conquered. To the victor goes the spoils. It's been like that since the beginning of time and you haven't seemed to catch on. It's adverse to humanity but it's the reality of human nature to have war. We've done great things with this land so I'm unapologetic about supporting private ownership and entrepreneurialism and defending our nation from chaos. What has your country done?

  • So? Does that make the West right? I don't think so and thus I don't even bother defending the state. Saying that, keep on thinking like that, because eventually someone's going to slit your throat with that kind of morality.

I don't believe in non-violence, but social Darwinism (a flawed concept) doesn't always come with full return. The reverse can occur, considering obesity is at high, and the white population is aging.

Good luck with the economic crisis.

  • The odds of me slitting their throat before they slit mine are pretty good. Wolves and sheep, homie. I don't understand your reference to obesity and white people and it's connection to anything I've said or this topic of discussion. I think I've probably widened your concept of reality and you don't like it. I don't either but it's reality.

  • Bastard jewry !

  • When they destroyed the Garden, it was not only a crime against humanity. It was a crime against nature!

  • This is definitely war

  • George Bush is NOT the anti-christ, his backers, members of the world bank are!

    STOP THE EVIL!

BRING THEM TO JUSTICE AND CONFISCATE ALL THEY STOLE FROM THE WORLD!

  • Are the rulers of the world the top 1 or 5% in US? The first group's minimal household income is ~$320,000 (2 or more sources), and the latter is $130,000 (ditto).

If yes, I totally agree, and these individuals that I see in person should see their "earnings" confiscated. In the end, their surplus was generated through theft.

  • EVIL.

  • This is a bad sign. If the Mexicans couldn't do it than no one can. They are very resourseful people. You have no rights since this Government continues to eradicate all living, pure and good things.

  • evil, pure and simple

  • Disgusting what thier doing to peoples lives and thier dreams of eating good clean food! This kind of thing will lead to some very harsh times in our future.

Lets rip up those yards and make way for a new kind of living, tear those yards up and put in victory gardens!

  • with the new cigarette tax. @ $.80 and another coming up soon... it seems the government is trying to get smokers to bail them out.

I wonder where these people got the tobacco seeds?

  • why did they bulldoze in the first place?

  • >>why did they bulldoze in the first place?

    From the summary:

"...Now the city has taken it back. They destroyed the crops, the infrastructure, and the lives of many people.

They plan to build a warehouse in it's place. "

In short: they were two faced hypocrites who acted like dogs in the manger. I'm sure they could have found another place to build their damned warehouse, if they had cared to look.

  • Comment removed

  • amandakerik stated..."They plan to build a warehouse in its place." ---which is incredibly horrific.

Is there someone, who can inform us who "they" are? Who are they? Who do they represent? Who funds them? Where do they reside? Do they have an address? phone number? email address?

This information will be important for those who want to report them to their state representative, etc.

  • I don't think it was about warehouses. According to another vid, there were several vacant warehouses across the street. I think it was all about spite and evilness.

  • Comment removed

  • well, when the warehouse is done, just burn it down. 2 can play the game.

  • What the Hell is wrong with those who call themselves "police" in this situation, and don't stand on the side of the people?

Those aren't police, those are pawns.

  • This video makes me so mad! The will of the people is irrelevant to the elites. Thousands should have gathered together to stop this from happening.

  • One thing i cant understand is that why why why why do americans eat to much sugar and get fat? Is that something in your culture? Or do you think it is cool?

Yeah Yeah Yeah Yeah!! Weapon Of Massdesruction"......ADDED SUGAR IN FOOD.

  • It's not so much the sugar (0.0% fat) as the fact that a lot of company producers put corn syrup in their products, that stuff serves no purpose other than to cripple peoples health.

  • They dont tell how much ADDED sugar it is ...In Sweden we have start new campain and that it is no ADDED sugar and it have help many people.

  • This is really sad. The citizens had done something productive with that land and it looked really nice as well. Now look at that desolation.

  • too bad they left out the part about the cannabis growing rampant in 10 of the 15 acres....

  • This compulsive demonization of marijuana by the government and strict government supporters is ridiculous. The war on drugs creates more violence than it stops. The prohibition of narcotics is what keeps the cartels in power.

  • i put that in for humorous reasons, i wasnt serious.

  • If you want to know more about what is to come next go to Alex Jones Infowars . com

  • rich white elite nazis and a swastika media reinforcing white supremacy on stupid cops and white people who can't think for themselves and are brainwashed zombies as bush wanted them to be..

  • The South Central farm was not just a place where food was grown, it was a place that healed the hearts of people, gave them hope and a renewed view of life. What happened to end it? GREED. Greed and the cold heartedness that permeates our society today. People need to have a beautiful place to spend time in, this was a way of life for these people, and it's gone. How sad is that?

  • The Amerikkkan system does not want coloured people to be self independent. The White rich ruling elite wants everybone to be slaves to their corporations and the sold out prostitute politicians. Its a sick system based on greed, money, and evil power. The white ruling class does not want any people of colour to be above them, especially the white rich elite who control government of local, state, and federal. We have to understand who the white rich beast system is and to organize everyone

  • uh, white ruling class? what color is our president? i don't think color has anything to do with it. class perhaps. the upper rich class taking away the freedoms of the lower classes.

  • @universallovechild WTF? So because the president is black that somehow changes the fact that the majority of rich in this country are white? No.

  • @universallovechild When you analyze peoples' histories race is definitely an issues. The history of these people explains why they are the lower class and why they do not have territory and land to grow their own foods.

  • The EVIL befind these actions must be dealt with if the human race is going to survive. The Audacity of this behaviour by a city, state or otherwise is criminal AND EVIL and it needs to be stopped. We can do positive thinking and look towards eachother for help, but those who are evolved on a higher spiritual plane, we need your help and your intervention against the takeover by forces that are THAT demonic. To the GOD loving POSITIVE forces of the universe, PLEASE assist the helpless in need!

  • Survival of the fittess. The poor always get trampled by the rich.

  • Ahhh..the refreshing kindness of government. Why don't we have a gov program to run every aspect of society...imagine the result, homelessness, wars, inflation, tax revolts, revolution, repression, political and financial instability....a socialist utopia

  • ok, 2 stories here, which one is right? private property owner or city donation because of Rodney King.... ? Who has it right?

  • @MarksterJar

You need to know the whole story. The land was not private land during the 10-12 years of the Garden project- it was acquired by the government in 1994 under eminent domain and donated to a non-profit foodbank, which created the garden. The previous owner sued several times to get the land back and finally succeeded in 2003. The government did not have to give the land back.

  • Why..?

  • See why the founders of the America put in the Second Amendent? We have a corrupt=shadow government.

  • When I lived in Los Angeles I never had an inch of ground to plant anything on. I could barely get by, the cost of living was so high. These people were so lucky to have that land to work for so long. Yes it sucks they can no longer use it. Hey, sorry to tell you but California is the home of the Greedy Bastard.

  • Get to know the whole story - this is private land that the owner didn't use for a couple of decades - suddenly wanted to build on his land - this isn't theft of land, it's someone wanting to use the land they own for their own use. If you own a house, should squatters be entitled to it?

These people have wanted to buy this land (or have the city buy it) but without success, as the owner has been asking more than the occupants were willing to pay - that's the only real concern here.

  • sugar in the gas tanks...pull up the survey stakes...make it as difficult as possible for them

  • Democracy for the rich. After the Rodney King uprising in 1992 the city of Los Angeles donated 14 acres of desolate urban landscape to the people in the neighborhood. The people reclaimed the land and now it is being bulldozed by the owner..

  • Poor Country ....

  • Like the public farms in Stockton, CA these were probably closed because they caused more problems than they solved, because they were the site of personal conflicts, gang conflicts, and other crimes.

  • Whatever you need to believe to ease your conscience....

  • And you're basing this conclusion on what?

  • Lol, My dads company is going to occupy some of the buildings that will be built there.

  • is it funny to you? your father raised a shit ass. nut doesn't fall far from the tree.

instant karma is gonna get ya

  • but that's not the point of these gardens/farms. to do for yourself and keep kids off the street is more to point of the gardens/farms

  • An amazing place, bulldozed. So much for Eden. My understanding is that the land in question was donated to the South Central Farmers following the LA riots. Does that not imply ownership? Community ownership is just as important (if not more) than private ownership. Citizenship is not based on protecting one's own backyard (or ass). Being outraged is the easy part - being informed takes work. Actually DOING something about the issue at hand is something I've seldom seen.

  • "Yes, you could always buy a tomatillo in the store..." SURE - A GENETICALLY MODIFIED IRRADIATED ONE!!!!! After Codex Alimentarius it will be illegal to grow ANYTHING of your own.

  • Exactly. This is a sign of things to come.

  • Do you think you could make the audio quality any worse? I couldn't even watch the vid due to the annoying Buzzing.

  • This is why you protect private property. If the lady wants to farm, she needs to own the land. Protect private property, it is the basis of citizenship. It is something to work for and protect.

  • USA/Israel alliance means that US citizens are Palestineans and Happy Iraqis. Why do people vote for their own destruction? BushCo was such a con as people are now seeing.

  • No link to more information, no information about what happened before they got bulldozed. PLEASE BE INFORMED BEFORE BEING OUTRAGED!!!

  • Do you have any links I can read?

  • I would like to know of some links? I'm sorry I didn't hear about this sooner, but, who owns this land? I want to know what companies to never buy from again.

  • The majority are so brain washed with the belief that we are "free" in this democracy. When you mix capitalism and democracy, you have a powerless people, a powerless government and an empowered corporate sector. Capitalism is all about self interest, and big corporations fit the bill perfectly.

  • Unconsciousness at its finest. We must move out of fear and BE who we are. Unity and courage can make the impossible happen! It's sad there is no respect for life in general including the plants.

  • I'm sorry for your loss. It was wrong.

  • This is absolute tyranny. They are taking away the freedoms of the poor to turn them into slaves. Then they censor this from mainstream media. This tyranny needs to stop. The rich and the powerful responsible for this are the scum of the earth.

  • This is absolute tyranny. They are taking away the freedom of the poor to turn them into slaves. Then they censor it from mainstream media. This tyranny needs to stop. The rich and the powerful responsible for this are the scum of the earth.

  • America is the apple of Satan's eye and the apple is beautiful to Satan only when it is rotting, stinking and good for nothing and he delights when the poor and downtrodden are ground into the dirt with his shiny police boot and smothered under the gross obesity of the politician's belly. This video is a prophecy of our future as a nation.

  • Another form of terrorism and oppression of the people. As Mike A. said...humanity won't make it because they're all being controlled by people who worship the dark side, satan himself and who just love evil and destruction. Since Satan hates the human race with a passion that can't be imagined he'll do anything to kill everyone one, including those who are stupid enough to think that he's here to help them too... Idiots.

  • That's disgusting. So sorry to hear it.

  • Teach them that with enough diligence and hard work you can prosper and don't become a victim and fill yourself with excuses.

  • you one of those people who believe bad things only happen to lazy people? Plenty of people work hard all their lives and have nothing to show for it. plenty of higher ups like to keep it that way cause they profit from it.

You're coming off like a total snob asshole. but whatever

  • Please don't call me an asshole. I'm a person from the same impoverished community than those you seem to be defending. Try reading all three of my postings (down to up) on the South Central Farmers and really think about the questions I raised. I raised them because the facts would make everyone think differently. I lived through this. I grew vegetables with my grandfather.

  • Although my point of view doesn't represent everyone in my community, it does reflect a large portion of us that aren't as pessimistic as these people. Most of us do the best we can with what we have and don't need someone disrespectful like yourself to defend us from the "higher ups."

  • One could argue that you sound disrespectful.

There's more ways than using "profanity" to come off disrespectful. It's your point of view, but you sound like you're generalizing. Like it's all just a state of mind. AS if people are only victims by choice and never victimized by others, even if the law is on the side of one party it doesn't always mean it's morally right. Sure there are plenty of people that push it when it comes to the victim role but there's also them who actually are.

  • youhave been bain washed, look through history if the elite stealing from the people. the banker robber barrons are at it again, wonder why most roman catholic states are poor? learn some history about the pacays bankers robbing from the poor giving to the rich. you can see it today. see all the Knights and jesuits at work. they serve the beast of revelation 17

  • My grandfather had a piece of land their until a year before they shut it down. He was bullied, charged money, and then kicked out of this farm. I raise the questions. Who controlled it? Who decided who stayed? Who controlled this money? Who owns this land? We don't live in a time of squatters. Just because you can show dramatic images of poor people doesn't mean you can take land that isn't yours. Teach your children to go to school and to do something with their lives.

  • Who is this lady? I have been living in this neighborhood my whole life. I only live blocks away and I could tell you this movement was all publicity. She says, "children are scared of the police." Why don't you teach your children to be civilized and understand the concept of private property?

  • He who controls the food and water controls the people.

That is why the few work so hard to take the means to raise your own from the many.

    It's all about control.

  • douche

  • whats wrong with this world is the fact that we are overpopulated with ignorant bigots who run their mouths slandering everything and everyone. it sickens me to think that in a country where there is supposed to be freedom of speech and democracy, we have yet to have a unified health plan and to help diminish poverty and unemployment. people, put your indifferences behind you and band together! we can do this!

  • people seem to forget the other half, and arguably the most important half, of the sentence in Pres. Lincoln's famous speech....

    "...divided we fall".

  • @ whatanicecar : Fuck you, as far as i'm concerned U were enslaved by US. You should show US respect you piece of shit nigger

  • damn its a shame what happened to the farm

  • What does all this racism have to do with this video? What is your point?

  • u dont get it. the fuckn city went behind the farms back and did a back room deal with DH. It fuckn left familys homeless.

  • lol white ppl are always so angry

    and obese

    hAHAHAHAHAHAH

  • e-gangster lol

  • you have a thing for hating crackers you fucking racist bitchs, so fuck you niggers, fuck you beaners, fuck you chincs, and fuck you sand niggers. you asians, mexicans, or whatever you fucking are, fuck you.

  • i only see a bunch of crackers

good thing my school is 80% asian

we chased all the crackers away

  • or we left because chincs don't amount to shit. you asian people scare away white people, ha, we would fuckin kick all your fucking asses, you bitch chincs. go back to china you bung fuck

  • fuck you and your skate board. go back to your isolating culturally shitty suburbs and skate

  • Does it hurt getting beaten up by "ethnics" in school every day? or did they steal your job at MC Donalds cause you were underqualified, but you blame it on them? :P

  • lol, i don't know what your talking about, but you sound pretty stupid.

  • illegal aliens huh?? american citizens land huh?? remember that california is mexico asshole! the americans stole it from mexico!!!

  • haha good luck getting it back. Remember that the entire western hemisphere is land belonging to the Native Americans. Get your dumbass back across the ocean where you came from.

  • im from across the ocean??? wow looks like we got ourselves and ASSUMER!!! please, dont make an ass out of you and me.

  • ya, and we had fun wooping your asses while doing it, so do something about you mother fucking mexican

  • I'm sure you can take out "we" mr e-superman, cause i'm pretty sure you weren't involved, cause you sound like a frustrated pussy wimp :)

  • your a bad ass

  • I live around there and you should try saying it to this "ILLEGALS" face .. it dont only keep this "IMMIGRANTS" from gangs but it also keep "BLACK AMERICANS" off the streets but like we all know none of you racist care about "US COLOR PEOPLE" .. FUCK THE KKK FUCK THE MINUTE MAN

  • i hate how fucking ignorant some people are. why do you have to think that way?

  • cool video, city did good job. Go back to mexico you're not welcome in this coutry, seems you haven't gotten that message yet

  • Go back to Europe kraker

  • What was the problem here? They didnt own this land! rather than thanking the owner for allowing them to use his land FOR FREE, they pissed and moaned that they were being kicked off. ANyone who has a problem with this...I'd liek to borrow yoru car for a couple of years while YOU pay all the costs. If you have a problem with that, you're an ASSHOLE

  • Wait, don't you mean the "southcentral squatters"? Or the southcentral trespassers? Hahahaha!

  • Well we are running out of oil, and soon we will have famine because our food is transported by trucks, grown using tractors, and artificial fertiliser and pesticide .

When the famines come we will need to grow food in our citys or the people will starve, or shoot people with food .

you reap what you sow, best wishes to all the gardeners from your friend in the united kingdom

  • Power to the rich people

    Democracy for the rich

  • So a thousand people suffer, old men, women, children... because someone said something naughty about the owner/developer...

Too bad, but it sounds like the developer has a large/fragile ego and a serious power trip.

But agreed, if this is true the people of the community didn't need to "bad mouth" him.

  • Ralph Horowitz said, to Lila Garret, that he said "no" to show off to his right-wing friends.

  • really! that really suks.... glad i don't have friends that would be impressed by that. What a way to "show off"... sick

  • They get off on that kind of thing.

  • The money was raised but the developer would not sell it to the community.

  • This is old news. Because of what the "farmers" said to the media, owner stated on news he would never sell to them even if they could outbid the new buyer.

  • In short, real owner lets land be used by locals to grow whatever they want. Locals discover that they can rent their little piece of dirt to illegal aliens from Mexico for a nice profit.

Actual owner of the property thinks of selling land and considers selling to farmers for less money than other interested parties. Farmers get it in their heads to force owner to sell at even lower price by bad mouthing him to the news media. Owner gets pissed and kicks then out and sells land for profit.

  • Thank you. It seems like a cold thing to do to the locals until you know the facts from both sides.

  • The city did not give up posession but instead let those people use the land. The land was NEVER theirs and now that the city took it back for better use those people are upset, haha why not get an education and actually earn money instead of living off my tax dollars in welfare?

  • Just like they "let" you use Yellowstone or Yosimite... would you be upset if the government took that back as well?

And who said these people didn't have a job or education. I think growing things is a better education than most... do you know how to do that?

  • Yellowstone and Yosemite are national parks provided by the Federal Government. Congress has the right to pass new laws chainging that, they could even pass a law to burn it all down. They won't do it because people will elect them out of office if they were to do that. If those people did have an education they would not bother with menial things like growing crops... doesn't the video mention that they were low income?

  • she grew tobacco? i thought that was totally illegal, like the batf would raid your house n crap.

  • its illegal?? doesn't surprise me, we wouldn't want to interfere with the profits of the tobbaco companies...

What we have here today is a Government for the rich by the rich.

  • It's not illegal to grow tobacco.

  • there's a limit, but anyone can grow it. you can get the seeds online.

  • If I remember the new article I read some time back correctly, Darryl Hannah was heavily involved in helping the people protest the destruction of this urban garden, and was arrested briefly for it. I feel the Urban Garden Idea is wonderful for children. When I was little we had lots of pretty woods and nature around but now they keep covering everything with concrete and more strip malls so kids don't get to enjoy the beauty and exhilarating joy of nature and its lessons.

  • I think we would be much better off, as a nation, if we would have a LOT more urban gardens... less crime, less bored kids looking for trouble, more community, more knowledge of where our food comes from, more respect for the planet... etc...

    thank you

  • Who can we write to about this, can you find out who the political leaders are who made this decision and we can inundate them with calls and letters?

  • I would say the Mayor of LA.. perhaps govenor Arnold?

The developers name is Ralph Horowitz

  • you call the rodney king riots an "uprising"? it was a bunch of illegal alien spics attacking korean shops. wow, solidarity, let's go attack gook shops, power to the people!

  • gook??? what is a 'gook'?

  • dont forget niggers being niggers... (who started it all thank you very much)

  • This is the best democracy money can buy.

  • Yes typical. People create and make beautiful, corp and govt interests destroy completely. It boils down to a bunch of crooked, should be in an electric chair, jerks who sit in a board room without the people and point their fingers on a map to decide the fate of a community. This is sick.

  • did you ever see it in person? beautiful?? hardly, this place was a dump and an eyesore

  • tragic story, but I'm sure I would have been evicted as well if I couldn't make my lease payments. Like it or not, that's how the world works. Good video.

  • this was not a lease situation. This was land allocated by the city for this particular use... like a park would be.

Therefore in fact they did make their "lease" payments. It's called taxes, just like you make the lease payments for Yosimite and all the rest of the parkland around the country.

  • haha!

  • suppose a developer wanted to develop Yosimite or Yellowstone... (which is your property if you are a citizen of the USA) and the government sold it to them for cheeeep... Of course with kickbacks

wouuld you still be saying "haha"?

  • evil I tell you. I'm not religious, but that's just evil at its purest! I wish I could live in a place like that, unfortunately I've been brainwashed into city life ;-(

  • Actually, no-one lived there. It was a community garden. These people had homes outside of the farm, in the urban, not-so-safe South Central LA...

  • whoops, the numbers have now caught up to each other. sorry

  • Under 'most viewed videos today" this video shows about 5000 views, but when you actually watch the video you see that the number of views is abuot 12,000 views.

  • Why didn't the fat cat liberal democrats all chip in and buy the land so that people could still use it? If each of the liberal elite stopped flying on private jets for one day they could have saved enough money to buy the land. If all the famous actors that protested turned off ac in 3 of their 6 houses they could have saved enough money to buy the land.

  • enders you are funny

  • ahh, which brings us to the question: how does it beneifit them? fine buy it, then they have to pay for the upkeep which is alot because the gang community decides to graff it every other day. then, they dotn really get anything back in return cause its a damn park, nuthin more, it doesnt demand much of a thanks, if you think about it, its fucked up but the people kind of brought it upon themselves.

  • Sounds bad for the owners of the land that had such a rough time getting rid of the squatters, just because you use something it doesn't make it yours. PS my parents are mexican and I went school from 7th grade through college in Mexico (Public schools), none of my friends or I had to plant anything to feel our "Heritage" even though we lived in Gto.

  • you might be right except for the fact that they weren't squatters... the city gave them the rights to use this land 14 years ago... for the purposes that they were using it for.

That is not called squatting... it's more like parkland.

  • Perhaps it's easier for Mexican people to feel their "heritage" if they are actually living in Mexico.

  • Maybe they should all take this opportunity to move back to Mexico now!

  • Maybe you should take this oppurtunity to pack your bags and go back to Europe, were comming for all you krakers...

  • or maybe you should go back to whatever european country you came from you ignorant white muthaphucka

  • wow, that's really screwed up - what can I/we do to help?
