I remember over Christmas NBC had this LAME dueling choirs show on. At the very end they roll out Tracy, not only because he's an established NBC star, but because he had a dumb movie coming out. So here he is on this dumb reality Xmas show, standing on stage, in a bizarre outfit, looking bored out of his skull while they announce the winner (and then he mangles winning choir "coach" Nick Lachey's name). Now THAT'S comedy!

The BIG problem is that because there's a probable SAG strike looming in June, the networks are gonna lean on the writers to REALLY rush scripts out the door. So the "product" we get from this non-strikey interim will be VERY sub par. Yes, possibly even on your beloved "30 Rock".

And some shows may just decide to work towards next Fall anyway.

Though I did make a joke about his name, I feel it's important for me to clarify. There are a variety of email smears and rumors circulating about Barack Obama. One of them is that his middle name is Mohammed and that's because he is Muslim (or is secretly Muslim or some such thing). He is not Muslim. He was not raised Muslim. His father was born into the Muslim faith but denounced it before he even met Barack's mother. Barack's middle name is Hussein which simply means handsome one.
