I dont deal well with tongue mods, whether they are just piercings or having it scalpelled lol

well, total reformation isnt uncommon if its just cut and not sutured.

It depends where you go and what you get done.

Through body modification artists prices vary from $100 - $400, through oral surgeons who are willing to do it, prices vary from $2000 - $5000 as they use an Argon Laser to do the split (the lizard man had it done like this)

@tsuchan1 it was done with a scalpel, then 4 sutures were put in each side.

and i only got 2-3mm of regrowth (it was cut to 27mm long, and has healed to like 24.5mm)

I used the smooth body of a cotton tip (dipped in my salt water solution) and rubbed it quite hard against the back of the split whilst pushing my tongue forward, twice a day atleast (when i woke up and when i was going to bed)

THAT and the fact that it was sutured all the way back the back of the split is why i have so much of it.
