Yep they mixed in the clone saga with the show, originaly in the comics Gwen Stacey had died in a battle between spidey and The Green Goblin(Norman Osborne) and was then cloned by Miles Warren, but for some od reason Stacey wasn't introduced until the finale episode of the series and then even in another dimension? plus they mixed Gwen even further with Felicia Hardy whom in the comics is only known as the Black Cat.

It was a good show but was definitely screwed up in many places
