  • Its usually illegal sorruly

  • Yandelav1 when ur headlights is out of the car and the wiring is exposed theirs 4 main plugs most of the time. 1 for high beams 1 for low beams. And 2 for your park lights if Ud want then to be on ur turn signal as well as ur park lights u need to connect it to the amber park light on ur left of ur headlight that's also used as ur turn signal but I'd check ur state law before doing so if u have 10k hid or CCFL angel eyes or led cause if its blue red or green and its blinking on your vehicle

  • can u explain me more of how u did ur wireing so u can get the turn signal effect?

  • Not bad! You better get Mom new oven gloves for Christmas or Mothers Day!

  • @flintlockpa1 ya lol. did you check out the new tutorial? this one is now obselete

  • Too bad it wasn't raining cuz you forgot to reseal the headlight.

  • wow i wonder how much hp or street cred this guy is getting with those leds...>_>

  • @djlawlesz lifes not all about hp

  • @cartzar im guessing your life lacks sarcasim, or better cars..

  • @cartzar .....speak for yourself. Life IS about hp, i would rather drive a beat to fuck built car than a Fancy looking slow car.

  • @djlawlesz ur such a cool guy lol loser

  • @gmax885 he put them in the oven to losen the adhesive that held the headlight housing together its umpossible to seperate them cold

  • NEW TUTORIAL OUT GUY!!! MAKE SURE YOU WATCH IT PLEASE!

  • @cartzar where??????

  • @CdonkeyIsDaBest oh... im going to make sure its up again, i think there was a problem with the upload.

  • @CdonkeyIsDaBest I HAVE UPLOADED THE PROPER TUTORAIL

    link in the description

  • no way in hell my parents are letting me do that.

  • Its like watching a really bad home made porno

  • sick house!

  • @jmichael1holmes thanx!

  • shouldn't more glue be put on when you re-seal it?

  • those would look sick on your infinity! but in my opinion, leds only look good on white cars

  • dude get a camera mount... please

  • To loosen up the glue.

  • why the fuck did you put the headlight in the oven?!

  • All I learned to do was how to take the headlight out, and put in in the oven for 7 minutes on 275°...

  • @TMJmovies what do you mean? you didnt see that you had to wire the lights to the parking light? if you couldnt see due to my bad camera skills, look at my other video

  • fail camera. fail car, fail equipment, lets just point out this video is fail. damn bro i got these things on in seconds. your car is nice by the way i think thats one thing uu didnt fail. but its not that rare of a luxury car. so i mean yeah but some peopple say otherwise. no offense but yeah i dont really dig what ur doing lol

  • @johnjohn1115 First of all, learn to speak English my friend, I'm not entirely sure what the hell you're saying at some points, but I get that you're a hater. It's okay though man, at least the other people on here are reconstructive. How 'bout this, why don't you take a step back as you're reading this, and go fuck yourself? I hate campers like you.

  • Just chill, I'm doin' my thing (btw, I did seal it, just not on video because it took a little time) and why don't you go do something else instead of writing hate comments? Maybe get a life, it'd be worth it in the future. >=/ that's a dissapoint face brah lol.

  • @johnjohn1115 if you dont "dig" what someones doing why would even open your mouth to tell them...your a fucking moron...i think every computer has spell check you ignorant cock sucker, good day sir.

  • @johnjohn1115 fail comment

  • im hungry, for a hedight cassarole. :3

  • this has already been done.......

  • @dannypaint1 by who?

  • putting a headlight in the oven? plastic melts

  • @dannypaint1 Glue/adhesive melts before plastic. You have to be careful with the temperature and the time.

I've done 4 headlights for HID projector retrofits.

  • thumbs up for electrical fires due to faulty wiring!

  • what a fucking idiot,destroys a $100 light unit to fit $3.00 leds.

once you have fucked the seal thats it,one fucked light.

  • bro tht was a good video tutorial but ur vid quality sucked like u need a better camera

  • whole vid is like temporary shit that wont last

  • @powellj82 it has lasted about a year now... so yea.

  • will it fits to my corolla s 2006

  • @melvinespinal1 yea. any vehicle

  • you need to throw it back in the oven after your done to soften up the glue again and clamp it together so it will be bonded. I'd probably run some polyurathan around the edge of the seal too just in case.

  • Oven WTF U WANT U HEADLIGHTS TO MELT?

  • @xDATBOiiFRESHx look at any other video. theyll say mostly the same thing

  • @xDATBOiiFRESHx well i wouldnt do that Butt i hope it workss for othersss

  • @xDATBOiiFRESHx the headlight wont melt, the adhesive hold the lens with the housing will loosen up so you can separate it/

  • @xDATBOiiFRESHx not laytex gloves which mechanics use but oven mits

  • iight im gona be honest good steps yea but you did a few things wrong.

    1. when you put the head light in the oven doesn't have to be for too long.

    2. get the right tools to detach the lens

    3. do not let the sticky stuff touch the reflectors cus it will mess it up.

4 after installing the led lamps inside double sided tape is not gonna be enough to keep it in place after a while with humid they will fall apart.

    5. SEAL THE LAMP TOGETHER. THIS IS REALLY IMPORTANT other wise your project wilbe no go

  • @elnenesobrenatural 6. I learned how to spell

  • Where did you get the led??

  • @Thund3rblaz3 ebay. for about 3 dollars per strip!

  • screw it taking it to the shop..

  • I would kick ur ass if u put my "light bucket" (as you say) in the oven

  • @xxMOSTERxRIFFICxx then you put your fucking light bucket in the oven. why the hell would i do it for you anyway... h8rs everywhere

  • stand sitll damn it

  • bro is that legal?

  • @TheModMan310 every color except blue and red

  • your cousin is going to kick your ass if he realises what you have done to his car...

  • @GTAinHDgamer take a number. that comment has been posted on my other video...

  • Dude the vid is helpful but you gotta try and hold the camera a little more steady bro. Im sick to my stomach.

  • my friend if you let somebody hold your camera you gane make a very good move

and you can make a good mony of it thanx any way

  • Looks good but i would of siliconed the lens back together to avoid moister from getting in the lamp on rainy days. Other than that looks good. You should try doing angel eyes...

  • lmao @ the oven mitts

  • hey thanks.... you really help me put those strips in my headlights. i couldn't remember your name but i did give you a shout-out. later homie oh yeah, i'ma put the back tail lights in next weekend. thanks again

  • @404Tone no problem. glad to help. oh, and if you could do me a favor, and make like a quick 30 second video featuring your lights. then put it as a video response? this would help me out a lot because it would show the result of the tutorial. thanks again!

  • @cartzar Glad the comments were helpful. I haven't put any in my car, but I might put a few LEDs in the side markers of an old JAG that I have and hook them up to the turn signal flashers. The way the Jag is set up, the you can't see any blinkers from the side, so this would be a big help when changing lanes on city streets in rush hour traffic. If I end up doing anything, I'll post a response vid.

  • and taking apart the headlight works with every car? like cooking the headlight at 275 for 6-7 minutes will bring it apart??

  • @raulred93 yes it will. except for BMWs because bmws only have plastic clips holding the lights together, not glue

  • Nice Video... Just a few points.

    1. You dont need an oven lol

    - a bottle of Goo or Goop Gone - $4.99

    2. Its never save to splice wires like that.

    - Wire Taps or Wire Splice Claps (splice any wire with a secure fit every time)

    $0.35 ea or $7.99 a box

  • where did you get the led strip??

  • how do you splice them to run during the day? do they run during the day? like daytime running lights?

  • @liaovictor they run like drls. if you wire them to the parking lites, you just have to turn on the parking lights during the day, and the leds will come on, but not the headlights. so yea

  • Dude use some soder and heat shrink, wire taps or somethen!

  • did you not reseal them back up with sealant

  • As soon as it gets humid out there, you will see water vapor and condensation inside the light. The light is screwed cuz you didn't seal it.

  • This video sucks!!! Can`t see shit!!!! Did u have epilepsy attack while recording this?!!!!!

  • Ur video is horrible, nice lights BTW- IMO tho these lights were made by Audi n I think it should be that way, wen I first seen those lights on a Audi I thought I wanna do that to my car. But now to much people r doin it n it's overrated already, it will soon be like a freaking rave show on the highway=GAY, it's even more worst n gay that KIA has those on there cars, minus well jus throw sum glow-sticks in ur lights haha. Everyone keep ur stock headlights the way it is, HID is da best upgrade

  • i wouldnt trust that wiring job. kinda sketchy on wiring

  • I BET THIS FOO KNOWS HOW TO MAKE A BOMB TO LOL ..... JK

  • shitty car though

  • Lol, you put it in the oven.

  • im assuming they will also work if you use your indicator?

  • @VirtuosoX1 you assumed right

  • @cartzar ahk, here the coppas will stop ya if there visible, i might get me one with those toggle switches.

    thanks for the reply :)

  • @VirtuosoX1 i talked to a police officer about it, and he said that since audi vehicles have these too, no cop will pull you over, except if they are blue. these are mostly bright white

  • Where did u order the LED's ?

  • @EDDIEAPR ebay

  • @cartzar - Nice strips. Who was the seller? I'd like to get some for my Honda.

  • I have motion sickness from watching your videos

  • i used my Ove Gloves for the first time installing my led's!

  • Hmm I wonder if it will look good on my mustang

  • @Catzar: BTW how's the LED strip on that car? Is it still working? Any moisture get into it? Thanks for all your help

  • @sonyfxi yep still working. no moisture or anything. i sealed the lights up real good.

  • @Catzar: you connected the LED to the turn signal, is there a way you can make it steady (not blink?) or would that mean you would have connected to the headlight instead? thx bro, you're friknn awesome!

  • @Catzar: also for the length of the LED strip, can u adjust the length? Or do u just purchase the exact length for your car lens?

  • @sonyfxi you can always adjust the length. every three leds, is a complete circuit. so you can cut every three off.

  • @Catzar: you connected the LED to the turn signal, is there a way you can make it steady (not blink?) or would that mean you would have connected to the headlight instead? thx bro, you're friknn awesome!

  • @sonyfxi just splice it into the driving light (aka Accessory light) should work perfectly.

  • proly not a good idea to bake off the adhesive, that protects the weather from getting into the lamp in the first place

  • FYI........ you need to epoxy that lite back together b/c water will leak into it down the road and cause you to have to replace bulbs at the cyclic rate. also get some lens restorer at your local aoto store for you cuz it will give it a cleaner look.

  • Comment removed

  • from which vendor from ebay did you buy these led light... the ones i have are not as bright

  • @spicoZilla ummm... i dont know. i just clicked: SORT BY: LOWEST PLUS SHIPPING

and then i clicked buy it now only, and then i found each strip for 3 dollars each.

  • Rated as Worlds Worst video!! WTF are the Pot holders for?? OH..... I need to go Puke!!

  • gay

  • you dont mention how to make it work with the turn signals meaning you didnt mention how the wires connect to each other for the park and turn signal to work with the LED and also can you please send me the link to where you buy these LED and What size are they thanks

  • use a fixed camera next time , however i found these vids useful, thanks

  • Bang Bang Bang Lmfao!! XD cool video at the ending lol

  • Im fuking dizzy -___-

  • @gs0829 recorded wit an iphone 3g.

  • @gs0829 Blair Witch Project

  • You are a very bad camera man! lmfao and you bang everything XD

  • @gs0829 yes i do. it if doesnt work, then just BANG it.

and its wit an iphone dude. im too cheap to buy a proper camera.

  • @cartzar haha an iPhone is almost what a really good camera would cost haha

  • how u get the leds to turn on and off with the blinker what wires do i have splice b/c i have 3 in my turn signal light

    ??????

  • @supfly502 since there are 3, that means that there is most likeley 2 positives, and 1 negative. or the other way around. anyway, 1 positive is for the parking light, the other is for the turn signal. so i spliced it to the turn signal positive, and the one negative.

if that doesnt work, just try each wire until it works. leds are a really insignificant voltage that it wont blow a fuse if you put the positive with a negaive, or a wrong splicing combination...

  • I give you credit for knowing how to get that cover off though...! :)

  • Huhuh nice.....okay but you could have used a heat gun to heat the casing instead of the oven...that is a hazard in itself!!1 lol especially if youngsters are watching. The hint shrink is "heat shrink insulation that electricians use to secure and insulate the wires. Its a type of plastic/rubber tubing that you slide over the wires, then you heat it up with a heat gun! lol it keeps the wheather conditions out from the electrical circuit.

  • dumb stupid asian! get a civic!!! and rice it out.....

  • @svt20009 why not on a damn mitsubishi?

  • @svt20009 mitsubishis r cool too.

  • @cartzar this is a mitsubishi. so yea. im not a dumb stupid asian... i am a smart stingy lil asian.

  • I love LED lights on cars. I'm tryna put some on my RSX. Dude, keep making these videos. You're really helping me not to cough up so much money.

  • @Cleeks7 thanks. at least someone appreciates them... lol

check most of the comments on this page, ull see what i mean.

  • @Shmoopstein you could have said it like that from the start.

is there another way to install the lights without splicing them?

also, u've heard of hid bulbs right? the ones without the ballasts. how are those installed without causing the same problem?

  • @cartzar Why did you delete my comment?

The proper way to install any aftermarket lights on your car is to splice the existing wires, solder in the new wires, and hint shrink the resulted new wiring. If you don't do this you could be introducing weather elements (rain, etc) to the car's electrical system and cause a shortage or electrical fire.

On the Infiniti M35/45 there is a certain package that includes Xenon (HID) headlights. The other package has standard halogen lights.

  • @Shmoopstein it was an accident. i was tryin to click reply, but i accidently clicked the trash can button. srry

i didnt know that. that explains so much. thanks!

  • @Shmoopstein another thing, i dont know what hint shrink is.

    can u explain ?

  • @cartzar he means heat shrink. google it up. It's a rubber tube that goes over the wires after soldering. you use a heat gun to shrink the tube so it creates an almost weatherproof seal over the connection. Protects from water, moisture, etc.

  • @cartzar

Heat shrink is a type of plastic that shrinks when you heat it up....you use it over naked wires.

  • @cartzar (Part 2) First determine which package you have. If you have HID headlights, then all you have to do is purchase replacement bulbs. If you have the halogen lights then you must purchase an HID conversion kit. These include ballasts and other components. They don't need wire splicing, they are plug-and-play with the existing headlights.

  • Such a nice car. Too bad your just some annoying faggot that installs LEDs in his car that no one will ever see because his only friends are his mom and dad. Little bitch

  • @Shmoopstein wow.

says the fag who doesnt have leds on his car.

  • @cartzar. Nice video. The LEDs do look cool.

You should heed some of the more helpful advice.

A heat gun is probably a better choice to separate them -- heat guns are kind of like blow dryers, but the get hotter and don't move as much air.

I would seal the headlights, but Don't use epoxy... it's almost permanent. Check out the different types of sealants and adhesives at the auto parts store and/or home. (continued...)

  • look for something that is listed as water proof, and that stays flexible once it dries. At home depot, you could get a tube of caulk such as one made to insulate windows. Probably get a CLEAR one.

For the wires, definitely tighten that up some. If you don't want to solder, you can buy some "wire taps".

Also, heat shrink is great, but you might have to take the plug apart to get the heat shrink over the wires (or cut the wires which is fine if you *solder* them back together. (continued)

  • Lastly, you can get a liquid in a small can that has a brush on it. You "paint" a little over the wires, and it dries to be a waterproof, rubbery coating that will seal out moisture. You could use this, and then wrap with some high-quality electrician's tape. Don't use the "cheap stuff", spend a few bucks more for 3M or a quality brand electrical tape. It's thicker, stickier, and lasts longer. Remember, under the hood you will face high heat, extreme cold, and moisture.

  • If you had to make holes for the wires to go into the headlight, then seal the hole with caulk tool... to keep moister out.

As an FYI, unlike light bulbs, LEDs will only light when you have the correct wires on positive, and negative. If you reverse them, they won't light, but it doesn't damage them.

I put in all of these comments because I think what you're doing is cool. Don't loose interest and keep on the creative spirit. (Final comment...)

  • Lastly, ignore the haters. Truth be told, they're probably jealous because you obviously live in a very nice house (kitchen, oven, 4-car garage), and your young with a nice car of your own (an M35?), that your folks probably bought for you. Ignore them... no one chooses their parents... and most of the haters are probably jealous because your parents have money and have gotten you a very nice care. Good luck! (P.S. -I'm not a know it all, but I'm quite a bit older & I've seen this before

  • @pjbrownva2 thanks so much for the positive feedback. and what you said has helped me out. i have used the sealant since i read your comment about a week ago. the lights are function great still, and now i can feel safe with the lights installed in there. thanks again!

P.S. if you have installed them in ur car, can you post a vid response featuring your car and show the placement, and lighting? i am looking for new ideas as for placement. i have a vid coming soon about a mazda3 led vid.

  • you call that amazing?they are ugly like you-shit i can do better than that

  • @Alrabyah its a goddamn tutorial. use it if you want you faggot.
