Taken From The 1996 VHS of the animated film of E. B. White Charlotte's Web part of the Paramount Family Favorites Collection with the Paramount Feature Presentation logo at 0:04
lalo schifrin composed the theme, which was first used in "Coming From" trailers in the late 1970's. It was used only once for "Starting over", and was used again in 1987 when Paramount turned 75. It would be used several times during the late 1980's through the 1990's. "Mean Girls" was the last movie to feature the theme, and since then the Paramount has been silent.. A new 100th anniversary logo will debut with "Titanic 3D", as the new logo was revealed in the titanic trailer and poster.

LOLOL!! I was just waiting for the Paramount guy say in the middle of the music: "And now we're pleased to bring you our feature presentation." I got a bunch of Paramount videos where he says that!!
I didn't think paramount did not go bankrupt. paramount kept on going with the sequel to the 1995 teen comedy, clueless (entitled Clueless Too which Cher Horowitz and Dionne Davenport continue where Clueless left off, giving another friend (probably another teenager) a fashion makeover since blonde girl Brittany Murphy died in 2009).
This logo is pretty awesome when you think about it. How hard this must have been to make - unless, of course, there really were metal stars and a giant "Paramount" flying around a mountain somewhere!
The best Paramount-logo is the one used until the 50's. Just a simple mountain top with the stars and clouds passing by, and no music. I mean, no studio can beat the 30's 20th Century Fox-logo and its fanfare. So why try?
it gives a good amount of inspiration, i could make a disney version of it, the castle is the mountain, the disney script is in the middle mountain and the stars are the line, and "a viacom company" is the "pictures"
paramount should use this music more often on its movies, I mean its so majestic and epic that describes the movie studio. Sure it would need to be in a lower volume when presented in theaters to not freak anybody out, but it needs a theme like the other studios ( Fox, Universal, Disney) have.
I remember at this house I went to over the summer, they had the Grease 20th Anniversary VHS, and it had a really long behind-the-scenes look before the film, then that CLASSIC Feature Presentation logo (with this fanfare), then the warnings, and then the 90's Paramount logo (also with this fanfare)
how untrue is this video? this logo is NOT from 2002, it's from 2003 and beyond.... and mean girls came out in 2004...so there is no way this is from 2002
I imagine that "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" and "Bambi" are both released on a Paramount Home Video release in 1976 and "Dumbo" and "Peter Pan" are both released on a Paramount Home Video release in 1977.
Actually, Disney did release some of Paramount's color cartoons from the 30's and "Screen Songs" of the late 40's via Kit Parker, even though they were public domain.
Could somebody advise me? I would like to create intro like this, but I don't know which program I should use. I know, it would be difficult, but I want to try it:o) Have somebody any experiences with this?
