@sirpickles Try not to take things that aren't serious too seriously. Believe it or not, it's fun to be silly sometimes. Not every piece of music needs to be perfect. In fact it's our imperfections that define our character. I, for one, am much more interested in hearing character than perfection. Perfection is for computers, expression is for people.

@secotton2 art, by nature, is often compared to other pieces and I simply compared it to other acapella 'Baby on Board' renditions, and certainly this was easily the worse. The bass is seriously lacking and it seems to be a 'have-a-go' attempt. Perhaps this is where the unserious element comes into it that youve explained. One must accept that even 'silly' performers are talented and entertaining.

@secotton2 - While the comment from sirpickles was rough, I have to say that I'm a fan and consumer of barbership music, and he had a point. It does sound a bit rushed, and there was a sour note at one point.

Rather than trash a critic, why not take what they have to say and use them to make the group even better? In fact, that would show character.

Pretty good sound, but they didnt really 'perform' it. They need to get out of the 'U' shape, and stand more independently so that the people on the edges arent so tempted to turn into the group (watch the guy on the right) because they are going to lose the sound if you arent facing the audience.

Loosen up and get into the song -- its what Barbershop is all about (well.. part of it anyway :p)
