  • Despite being fan made, I must say this is really well done :) more emotions, more tears, and most importantly more love. The official anime ending made me cry but not as much as watching this version...T__T

  • The anime failed, because it had no love...

  • @Clashbreak

    Senza amore...

  • I don't understand, I've watched 26 episode of this anime, where is this clip from? the game? :S

  • @tomteo9 In the title:

    "fan made"

    Fan. Made.

  • @rikachanxxx Your'e in the title you son of a bithc :(

  • @tomteo9

It's a fanmade animation of how it happened in the game.

The real anime's adaption was less dramatic. All that red =(

  • goood!!!!! beutiful!!!!

  • Aaaa, they should've made Umineko a 50-episode anime, or 40, at the very least... Chiru would be longer..

Just finished Twilight of the Golden Witch, EP8, and I loved it. All of Umineko. Ange pissed me off a lot, though.

Although I find the anime version inferior to the VN, I would still like to see a Chiru adaption.. hopefully by better people, but I'd like to see it anyway..

After all, people can think of different interpretations for Beatrice's catbox.

  • Why can't these people be in charge?

  • That was, by God, heart-wrenching!

  • Man I'm so proud of myself that I can understand what they are saying: They are talking about ending Beatrice pain and kill her fast because that is her heart. She also speaks in the red truth about her last riddle, battler is the only one alive in the island except for the killer that is about to kill him.Beatrice last riddle is who is the killer.

  • Meh, everybody loves this... except for me.

    No doubt, incredible work.

But I think it's streched out too long and I like the seiyuus from the original anime more. The much better thing was the last "riddle" from Beatrice, which was awkwardly short in the official anime. So I prefer that way to do it.

Conclusion: Not bad, pretty cool, but I prefer a mixture of both, the anime and this one. Nevertheless, a must see.

  • Now this the real way to end Umineko game 4!!!

  • I don't hate the anime, because that anime is the one bringing me to its VN which is obviously more awesome. But I should admit this is awesome.. And Battler voice here is hella similar with Ono Daisuke's voice... O.o

  • this is amazing it just made me cry

  • THAT WAS FUCKING AMAZING.

  • Oh shet.....I have no words for this....It's just....no words. It's just...more than incredible.....no words. Cannot be described with words.

  • I absolutely love this.

  • To think this was so long ago... Beato...

I still haven't started my copy of Episode 8, waiting on Witch-Hunt to complete their translation. I have the first half of their patch downloaded but I don't know if I can bring myself to start it yet.

It's amazing how well they did this.

  • @SonjaArashi i really want to read the VN but i get bored after 20 min or so, what should i do to keep my interest up? :( Because i really really really love this :(

  • @MapleStoryDraco - Think. Theorise about who is the killer, or who could be the killer, why and how, and try to figure out who will get kileld next, and why etc. It's like reading a mystery novel, that is what makes it interesting, because it engages you in the story.

  • @MapleStoryDraco

I assume you're starting with the first novel, which admittedly starts off pretty slow. Just keep on reading, Eventually shit hits the fan and you'll be hooked (hopefully). Episodes 2 and 3 and onwards are smoother reading.

  • Stop feeding the troll people! Just...enjoy this. And let the DontXRunXOk troll ramble about on his own.

  • I actually liked the anime ending. :P Though that's probably because I saw the anime first. Though this is MUCH better, MUCH MUCH better. O_O

  • WOAH

They did WONDERFUL, REALLY WONDERFUL job on this!

DEEN fucked this up epicly(but I still love Umineko :D) and fans fixed it.

It still ends with a bit of cliffhanger, but who cares?

The animation is the same(Yeah, I don't see difference), voice acting is great, everything is great!

Who could of thought, that ending will fuck up Umineko so much.

  • 2:16

    She's like,

"what, really? He's actually gonna kill me?.... sweet"

  • ow if they do the ep4???tea party, that would be so cool

  • If you really understand what this scene actually means (covered in EP7 fully) it's incredibly heartbreaking. The whole Umineko is so sad and tearjerking when you finally understand the plot and especially most of Beato's metaphors.

    :'(

    Incredible video.

  • Umm there are no subtitles...

  • @padawanSarahTano Click "cc" at the bottom of the video

  • @pointybee ooh, thanks! *feels like an idiot*

  • Comment removed

  • Not that i could make anything near that...but Beato was acting a little too cute...something was missing too...i don´t know...but the hug was great;D

  • At the very least the anime made me want to read the VNs... And I didn't find it to be THAT bad, actually seeing Rosa's multiple murders at the hands of her daughter's imagination was just disturbing... O.O

  • plz tell me when i can see the episode of the novel

  • Oh, Umineko anime. You could have been great. You could have been a contender. You could have had a second season. But nope, you rushed everything and now everyone hates you.

Seriously, fans made something like this on their home computer and it's awesome. DEEN summed this incredibly moving scene up like this:

    Beatrice: Kill me Battler.

    Battler: Okay lol.

  • @MrThumbsup well...considering the VNs creator was supervising it i guess it was meant to be like that .__.

  • @demongirl22 Doesn't make it any less irritating, tho.

  • @MrThumbsup true xd

  • @MrThumbsup I loved the anime but the ending just was terrible.. I thought it was gonna be like this video.Emotional and heart breaking. But no, it felt rushed :\

  • nevermind. but it won't let me delete that comment

  • @KisaxKillerxLoli To delete a comment you have to click on the little arrow next to the reply button on your comment and click delete i think. hope this helps!

  • @KisaxKillerxLoli i mean remove not delete. my bad!

  • Why am i only seeing chinese subs....???

  • They should put the hugging scene in the anime!

  • New comment here - i've played the visual novel up to 7 and I still want to say that the anime was not as bad as the fans make it out to be (imo)

Although it is HORRIBLE that this scene didn't get into the anime, it really is.

I wanted to ask, though - where did you get this video? Can I see more of this group somewhere?

  • The one video that 1911 made worse.

  • why is the astyle diferent O__o

  • @sofitssofi It's fanmade.

  • @YamiAura NO WAY!!

  • @sofitssofi Way.

  • @YamiAura it seem sREALLY like an anime O__O

  • What part of this is fan made?

  • @Demonhornz The whole thing is fan-made :'D The animations, the voice actors.. only the music is from the VN <3

  • @schnabeltierperry Then this is top notch animation...

  • @Demonhornz Japp, it was terrible that DEEN not included the hugging seen of them in the anime... that's why I love that fan-project x3

  • Shannon loves Battler? Irihhhihhhhuhhhh how?!?

  • @emkaz35

    Thanks for destroying the history

  • Well actually now that I've seen the whole thing, DEEN was better at preserving the mood even though they cut a lot of things out. This one, although more faithful, seems to drag on and doesn't really keep the mood too consistent. It was sad at first but then the music kinda quieted down and the red text disrupted everything.

Also Beato's voice here kinda sucks. Can't ever beat Sayaka Ohara. The "Watashi wa dare?" here was really weak.

  • The mood's much better and the story's better paced, but DEEN still has better animation and artwork.

  • @LeFatTurkey That's bullshit. I don't even need to list their god-damned off model scenes.

Cept' for the Artwork part. But then again, Alchemist did better with the PS3 port.

  • @SouthernRiprey

Well, the animation by DEEN was definitely low quality, but what they TRIED to do was good. They probably had some really good storyboards but really little time.

This video's animation is just kinda stiff.

Alchemist's art has always been really generic looking to me. I think the anime's art style has more character.

  • This is much better than the anime. Perhaps you could re-do the anime ? XD I know that's impossible

  • This is truly amazing and very well done...

But... who, exactly is Beatrice? You know, when she says "Who am I?"

    I get confused :|

  • This was probably done by a group of Graphic designers in Japan cuz you'd have to wokr with Graphic Designing to make something like this

  • Have they animated anything else? Perhaps they should try animating Chiru xDD

  • OMG! This.....this...THIS IS AWSOME!!!! THIS IS WAY BETTER THAN THE VISUAL NOVEL!!!! IT'S PERFECT! JUST AS THE SOUND NOVELLLL!!!!!! IT'S BEAUTIFUL

  • @amyandelyonprinces Do you mean better than the novels? "Visual Novel" is a term that is almost interchangeable with "sound novel". In fact it might be entirely interchangeable.

  • eng subs hey!? looks suspiciously like kanji to me...

  • @joelherro clik on the 'cc' botton that is on the right-bottom of the video lol

  • @joelherro Theres a cc button at the bottom you can click to see the Eng Subs.

  • so this is from the sound novel? i just got the visual novel. does it have sound? i was wondering why it was a bit off from the anime.

  • I don't know how they animated this but this is epic! God if only they made the anime.

  • i just realize that this is a fanmade! o_O

its really cool, way too bettet that anime version, but i dont get the question...

  • WAHT !? WHO IS BEATO !? I WANNA TO KNOW! WHO IS SHE!?

  • @dunnooooo1234789 Thats what they call her its short for Beatrice

  • @Dokurodeadangel THat title of witch. But what her name is possibly means before she became witch. Like her real name or something.

  • @dunnooooo1234789 Shannon = Beatrice.

  • @NewJokerSMILE Shannon isn't maid's name? Man, THAT QUESTION IS REALLY BUGGING ME! But I readied the manga, Beato called Battler as Father then I went blink-blink.

  • @dunnooooo1234789

Let me clear something up, then. :3

She is kinda of Shannon, but her name she was called was Yasu. Think of her as that.

Now, we don't know her name from birth. Yasu was a nickname. However, her name was supposed to be Lion, and Kinzo tells her that. She assumes the official name of Beatrice after.

So... you can say it's Shannon, Yasu, or Lion. And the Father thing... yeah, you went a bit to far. Chapter six stuff. :3

  • @NekiiFTW Yasu isn't Shannon. Not exactly. Yasu is "one" made by split personalities. Basically, Yasu, Beatrice, is made of different people. In simple words: There isn't ONE person killing everyone. It's Shannon and Kannon together for sure. They both are responsible for some deaths at least. In EP1, for example, Shannon played dead in the first twilight. That's a fact, not a theory. Will says it in EP7. "The illusion that cannot return to Earth" (earth to earth = truly dead).

  • @NekiiFTW And, to add to that, here's the final proof. "What if the kid had truly wanted to see her face?"This is a reference to George. When the first twilight is discovered,Hideyoshi advices against George seeing her face.George accepts it. So it's supposed that if George had seen Shannon's face,he'd have realized she wasn't dead. Her corpse was kinda hiding, VN doesnt talk much about it because she's alive.Fact.Also look out for Nanjo lying and Kanon not being killed in the boiler room (Theory)

  • @dunnooooo1234789

...but don't take my word for it. I'm pretty confused myself. xD

  • @NekiiFTW Lol, me too. But I hate it when they left something mystery and we don't know what is going on!? ABout chapter from manga, it's true what i readied.

Seriously, maybe it's his mother or sister?... Possibly.

  • just noticed this wasnt the actual anime o__O but this version is a little more dramatic and i think i like this version better :DDD i love

how beato's voice actor can really sound like she's really sad and in pain and all :DD

  • @DontXRunXOk Really now? Well lets see what you have done~ Oh. Nothing? Well then, how about you just not comment and let people who like the amazing voice acting, great animation, and great sound quality for a self-made (which BTW proabably took them days) to love this, and go watch ur liked videos. Youtube is half anime/manga and half reality. Lets us lovers of anime like our own thing and you like yours. Thanks and half a nice day! :D

  • @DontXRunXOk ... So you posted because of someone's comment? Nice job!

You can't even spell Japanese right... You make your parents sad. Hell, there are so many errors in your grammar your parents are probably turning in their grave. Fail job, troll boy.

  • @gg533 get a life replying to a six month old comment you have way to much time on your hands you nerd.

  • @DontXRunXOk Excuse me sir, but I take objection. I did not have "too much time on my hands", as you put it. I was simply just bored. So what if I'm a nerd? I consider myself more of a man than you, little boy, for being able to admit that. Run from what? From you? I doubt you'd be able to scare an ant, what with your little "earthworm". I could most likely easily lay you down flat, sonny boy. Your likely to be a 10 year old who thinks he's a man, what with that ridiculous name.

  • @gg533 haha.. yeah talk shit on the internet, bet youre just a skinny lil nerd.

  • @gg533 oh yeah i forgot to add that you like anime so i know youre a faggot

  • @DontXRunXOk Oh my. I don't feel very offended. Please learn to troll more. Hell, if you think everyone that watches anime is a faggot, I dare you to go on 4chan and ask for Rule 34 of Yotsuba. But of course, you wouldn't have the balls to do that, would you? I'll also say your most likely a Call of Duty fag. CoD = Battlefield wannabe.

  • @DontXRunXOk Based on what, you epitome of intelligence you~!

  • @NightmareNny777 you like anime

  • @DontXRunXOk Oook! I guess according to the genius everyone here's a faggot. Just wanted to clear that up.

  • Comment removed

  • I Fucking hate DEEN so much right now...

  • 1.) replace the last scene in umi anime with this.

    2.) more satisfaction from fans.

    3.) ????

    4.) Profit!!

  • who the f-ink hell disliked this u god damn s.o.bs i hope u people rot in hell

  • can the person who made this make a 2nd version of the whole anime?

this is so awsome, i just can't find the words

  • The version of "thank you for being born" at the beginning is actually a fan arrange.

  • @Yukikittie They probably could've. But keep in mind they had a very limited budget back then.

  • umineko ep 8 twilight of the golden witch!!!finally this word is getting it's glory back

  • If Battler is the only one on the island, then the answer is simple. The one to kill Battler is Battler. Another Battler. Perhaps the man from 19 years ago...

  • @lastxwriter nope SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS battler was kille by booooom.

  • @lastxwriter I doubt that. Knox's 1st: The culprit cannot be anybody not mentioned in the beginning of the story. If there is no foreshadowing to the Alt!Battler in Episode 1, which can be interpreted as 'the beginning', then Alt!Battler cannot be the culprit.

  • @narutardkyuubi Damn. I forgot about Knox's1st. And another Battler also breaks Knox's10th, so that's out. ...I'm stumped.

  • @lastxwriter BATTLER himself mentions that his theory at the end of Ep.05 was a red herring anyway. Try to look things over. I would suggest using Rules XYZ, make sure to look at things over from different points of view, and don't assume anything. Knox's Rules aren't ironclad, they're meant as a way to approach mysteries, not solve them. I wish you luck :)

  • @narutardkyuubi But can Rules XYZ really apply here as well? I know they worked in solving Higurashi, but... I dunno. The culprit has to be someone mentioned at the beginning of the story. There's no sudden person arriving on the island. ...I'll figure this out yet! :) Magic or no magic, this mystery's gonna get solved!

  • @lastxwriter Hmm, there's one thing that seems off. It's consistent that whoever sends the letter at the beginning of the game wants the family to solve the epitaph, but why? What would the sender have to gain from such an action? Somebody made that letter and sealed it with Kinzo's ring. That means that the sender knows Kinzo is dead. Still, it's unknown whether the sender is the culprit or accomplice. What do you think?

  • @narutardkyuubi Let's think about it. Who knows that Kinzo is dead? Natsuhi knows, but she can't be the culprit according to the red truth. The servants knew, with the exception of Gohda. And factoring in the new information about the kid who fell off the cliff... personally? I'm willing to pin the blame for the letter on Shannon. ...And I don't buy the "Kyrie and Rudolf did it" theory from Bern at all. Due to... well... Bern.

  • @lastxwriter Don't blame you 'bout Bern. Shanon seems pretty suspicious since she has almost no alibi (aside from being dead, but not that that's stuck) and if we take her statements from an anti-fantasy/mystery perspective, she's the one who probably talks the most about magic being responsible. As a servant, she'd know everything about the mansion, and if we assume she's the kid from 19 years ago, then she has a motive for murder, or at least helping in the murder.

  • @narutardkyuubi i agree with you., and she had also something to do about battler, or at least shes got some connection why battler's the reason the murders occurred.,

  • @rueLf94 Shanon being the culprit violate Van Dyne's Rules though...however, if she's interpreted as 'a member of the family' through Kinzo, then there's away to get around that. Also, Ep.02 shows that she's responsible for releasing Beatrice to kill everyone. But if we look at that from an Anti-Fantasy POV, Shanon is saying "I'm the reason that there's a person killing everybody" so she must have some connection to the killer, or might be the killer herself.

  • @narutardkyuubi perhaps.,. i'll play everything all over again once i get my other laptop back to windows., TT^TT

  • @narutardkyuubi also u cld tech say she's geroge's fiancee :P i mean b4 the first twilight happens he's proposed and she's said yes. altho even tho we have a who dunnit we dont have a how or why dunnit :P

  • @lastxwriter the mystery of rokkenjima's mass murders can be solved hypothetically w/o magic., i agree that the murderer has been present since the very beginning that is if they follow Knox's Decalogue., though im betting on shanon as the murderer because she is definitely suspicious.,

  • this should have been the real ending... r r

  • Hey if anyone notice's Beatrice hugging Battler is exactly similar to when Rena hugged Keiichi in episode 26 of the Higurashi :)

  • THIS IS SOO AWESOME!!! looks like it may have been from the actual anime O__o

  • this fan is a thousand veses made better than the end of the anime ..... have the feeling that the novel has sound but no anime

simply the best fan made and see

  • DEEN should learn from this. Blue stakes are blue, not gray :3

  • This was so beautiful. It really showed off beato's dere side. The video moved me more than the anime. Whoever did this should've made this anime, because ITS PAAFEKUTO

  • @KawaiiKurasu i agree and i also agree that ITS PERFECTO!

  • this voice fits so much better to beato o.o

  • this is goddamn good but somehow change all the timeline of VN

  • WAAAAAAAIT!!! What and where is this from!??!?!

  • @SFGK fanmade animation using the VN's material, this is how ep26 was suppose to end like.

  • Better than the Anime.

  • @buukaczi lol what?

  • @buukaczi Have you ever played the novel? Suppose not.

  • @buukaczi ...Except for the fact that she totally does?

  • @buukaczi fail for opening your mouth without knowing what you're talking about

  • @buukaczi hahahahaha oh wow, what a noob.

  • That scene looked like it really was in the anime O.O Battler's voice sounds almost exactly like the real Battler :D but Beatrice kinda sounds a little more like Bernkastel's.

  • But awwwww that was so cute ^__^

  • Better than the entire anime. would like to see some good study done a remake, like SHAFT or something. Sorry my bad english

  • Do you know where to find the first part of this? They seem to have another part becuase it shows the credits for Bern, Ange and Lamba's voice charas :3 Thanks

  • @AAreborn First part is only in audio. Like a audiobook

  • Wow the voices and the animation are extremely well done here. I think I prefer this ending to the one that the anime created though. I mean, don't get me wrong, the anime was amazing, but this is just more of a....sincere Beatrice? (If you could ever call Beatrice sincere in the first 4 episodes. Haha!).

  • um i gues its time...

  • battler= buttler :D

  • Damn. Just hire thes fans. did a better job then freaking DEEN.

  • @frosty848 Yeah DEEN sorta messed up on my favorite anime "Get Backers" there was supposed to be more blood and some hentai but they cut it all out T^T They made the scenes where there was supposed to be non bloody they made it look like there was no blood in the characters bodies T^T

  • Sure, I was watching the whole thing through tears, but that was still great. Best fan-animated video I've ever seen. Sorry, Unlimited, but this was amazing.

  • Just how wonderful and terrible is this... I am astonished for this ending...

I MUST play the ep4 now!

  • Lemme see..

True to the sound novel? Check. Good animation? Check. Good voice acting? Check. Battler has black eyes? Check. Depressing? Check. Good music? Check.

DEEN could learn a thing or two from the fans..

  • @NinjaMuffinMaster Hey now, the animation, art style, voice acting, and music were good.

I still like the anime, even though it strays somewhat at important points. I like DEEN's style of animation and art. The sound novel was superior in story, but the game's art was not... of professional quality, you might say. The large hands and slightly pudgy build thing, though I know it's 07th Expansions trademark, drives me nuts. And the music and voice acting were fine!

  • @RikuReplicate 4

Well I never said the anime was bad. It's still superb even if isn't one of the truest adaptations out there.

  • @RikuReplicate The art isn't great because it's a Sound Novel (ie focuses on sound to set the mood more than on the visuals). the animation, VA and music were good, but...the same can be said for the X movie, which was terrible because of its story.

Anyway, the anime is okay IMO, but nowhere near as good as the novels, and people who've only seen the anime might not have great impressions of the series.

  • @NinjaMuffinMaster But Battler's eyes were cute just the way they were in the anime blue :)

  • @NinjaMuffinMaster i think you are right on all facts, exept that i dont think the voice acting was so bad in the anime, acctualy.

  • @NinjaMuffinMaster What are you talking about? DEEN's Umineko anime was incredibly depressing.

  • lol, Virgilia. xD

  • this version it's better

  • I love the VN and the anime. But the anime is better.

Face it, the anime presents the mystery better than the VN.

  • @NewJokerSMILE I'm pretty sure you never played the game. In fact I'm pretty sure you're a faggot too.

  • @shiki1xk Play the VN?LOL.

Nobody plays a VN, he reads it.

Also, accusing another person from being a faggot just because you don't like his opinion is pretty mature from you.

  • @NewJokerSMILE That person was out of line. However, just going by your words, your opinion is wrong. "The anime presented the mystery better." This is simply not true. From the 26 episode anime, the mystery cannot be solved. From reading the first 4 VNs, it can be. Therefore, the anime clearly cannot have presented the mystery better.

  • @baixiaolang yes i agree with you, with the anime leaving so many things out and making 'magic' believable, its quite hard to near impossible to solve the mystery just by watching the game.

  • @NewJokerSMILE

ahaha.wav. Oh I dare you to say that in RED. *cackle cackle cackle cackle cackle cackle cackle *

  • Oh wow, props to the ones who made this. I watched this just after reading the 4th Tea Party, and it captures the mood perfectly! (Of course, the excellent music plays large part in that, but still).

  • That was amazing; but Battler's nose was messed up.
