People die from to much G force to the head or chest area, so if you don't test that aspect of a crash you only determine how well the car survives not how well someone inside will survive. The crash test they did with the concrete block is all show and no go. It is a useless test. They needed to put accelerometers in the vehicles to see what the G forces on the driver would be. Without that information these tests are just "good TV". But they definitely aren't good science.
