I watched Dustin play for years in the WHL with the moose jaw warriors ....this guy has alot potential and hopefully he can have a break out season with the habs
After seeing boyd in nashville at the end of last season, I'd say he's a solid 4th liner to eat up some minutes and be a pest to opposing teams. On weaker rosters maybe a 3rd liner, but no more. He seems to be in good positioning, but his puck handling didn't really impress me. All around a good role player.
ok next step....trading andre gaystytsin...then cammlllarri, gomez gionta...you know trade all our good player wich is the only thing pierre gauthier and bob gainey seem to able to do
@MurdochProductions He's only 23 and used to be pretty highly rated. I think his upside is 'good' Higgins, downside is Metropolit. I think he'll be on the 4th line centering Pyatt or on the right wing beside Eller. He's a Martin type player so he'll be used a lot like Pyatt was last season.
u want boyd u want him hes real good you got boyd

@dedricthere I played against Boyd in a tourney before he was pro and he could fucking fly

Good. We need somebody else than Gionta to get those late game important garbage goals.
Let's hope Boyd can be what Lats couldn't be for us.

what do you mean his downside is Metropolit?
owenboen67 1 year ago
@owenboen67 At worst, he'll be another Metropolit like 4th liner for us.
corunguneee 1 year ago
@owenboen67 I'm guessing he means a 3rd or 4th liner who has skill.
