If you're wondering, the girl's name is Reco, she is the princess of her village. Palm, the boy, is the younger son of Queen Larsa (final boss of the game and mother of the final boss of the first episode of Mushime-sama). Maybe im about to say what everybody is thinking, but to hell with it :
@SIOYGYG I've got the game it's a great soundtrack ain't it so far i've got Mushihimesama Futari, Espgaluda 2, Triggerheart Exelica, Guwange, Trouble Witches Neo, Ikaruga and Deathsmiles.
Ah, I also feel this is one of few instances where the title of a song or poetry piece actually plays into the artistic value. The way the instruments play would on their own imply simplistic ambience or a feel of adventure, but if applied to the idea of losing your mind to insanity convey a sense of losing control due to the pacing. It's awesome.
@AlastorGX You're right, I never realized that! I made it halfway through, scrolled down, read this comment, brought the song back to the beginning, played it, and immediately found the song took on a new life. So incredible to think the power of the creators intent is on our perception, and how much variation will be possible with the same notes across different lives otherwise (and I suppose even with the knowledge of the creators intent).
@DietSoap3 Wonder of communication isn't it. We're isolated to very different upbringings and separate wavelengths we can never truly see the inside of unless it's our own, yet we both get enlightened by and cannot live without the construable subjectivities our peers project socially through word or art. Excellent composer, intention bar none, though.
I listen to this song all day, every day. It's amazing, to say the least. It's a shame such gorgeous gems like these are under-appreciated and discovered only by so few. But that makes them an even better find for some reason....Amazing music for an amazing game.
@Aphotican Heartily agreed. I think what really makes it is that despite the synthetic and typical videogame basis, it shakes things up amazingly with the Chinese instruments. It's a polarity marriage between both styles, and that makes it exceptional.
I just clicked on this video not knowing what the game was it was from and I said to myself "This is a bullet hell game, isn't it?" then I looked it up and whaddaya know...It is...
@zzzra86 probably because Mushihimesama Futari is a Japanese-only arcade game and so few Americans have been able to hear it because they don't even know it exists?
Hey TukiOpeth, can you put the soundtrack on mediafire?

@zzzra86 @zzzra86 Because of faggots who prefer - decent, but stupidly overrated - BGM like One Winged Angel.
