@MegaRellik cheesy because it's cheap, anyone can do it and doesnt need any skill for it, I play starcraft in a more complex way than repeat same thing again and again and again, but that's just my opinion.

@InternetSandman He's referring to the unit count--numbers you see in the upper right, e.g., you get to 10 units (at this point they'll all be SCVs), build a Supply Depot. The build order only really makes sense very early on in the game because when you start throwing larger units into the mix they take up more supplies and memorizing the math would just be stupid. Anyway I'm a n00b too but I was an SC I player a decade ago so this is language they've been using for that long. :)

Usually when I do this build im playing 2v2 with my zerg friend and its usually this with ling bling muta or ling bling roach and I hold till 200/200 supply get 8 vacs 8 vikings and stimed marines its funny watching them rape.

Great Strat worked well for me against zerg, however what happens sometimes is that the mutalisks go for my base first rather then the push and wipe out my scv's then im screw'd :( then he has a base and i have no base and its over . What would you have done do counter that?
If I am getting tanks vs zerg, I am going to do it very early. I don't want to be waiting becuase zergs will get speedlings, banelings and mutas. If you wait long, then zerg will take time to clean up your marines. Then, mutas go to town on your tanks. So, push early. I would do it even earlier than what you did in this video. The earlier the better. Get the two tanks and move out while seige mode is finishing. You should be able to get there by 7:30 or 8:00. That is the aim.
There is a lot of room for you to refine this build. One simple thing that jumps out is that your gas is waaaayyyyy tooo high. Get more reactor cores on your rax and build only 2 rax. Then, add a port as your mineral gets high and gas gets high. You can support waaayyy more than one factory on two gas. Refine your gas. Use gas as the guideline because gas is steady while mineral is erratic w/ mule vs scan balancing.

I would say this is a strat zvt that requires the skill level of a bronze player. here is why; Yes, this strat is beatable however the amount of skill the Terran player requires vs the zerg is no comparison. To beat this strat the zerg must manage an attack from multiple angles while the terran manages his auto attack.

@am0ney916 i would say it depends on if you want to push with siege NOW or need siege to defend NOW then get your siege up... but if you're planning on a higher tank count push in a few minutes... id say get the tank out quicker. zergs these days like their low ling counts at that point of the game... and any roach/bling aggression should be there before you can get siege anyway.

@teesigh cos zerg is the hardest to play at a basic level, requiring more micro in terms of creep spreading, larva injecting etc. so if they learn the basics of it they think they are incredible players, even though they mostly just rely on the same boring strats over and over.

I love this strat against zerg. Good against mutas, resistant to unarmored infantry, but fucking roach rush. I hate roach rush. And marauders are only good against roaches in TvZ (although they do tank for lighter units) while roaches are anti infantry and take on terran mech as well as tank for hydras. And they have super fast rehealing and move while burrowed.
People say Terran is OP but I think otherwise. I had 2 silver friends who immediately bumped up to plat after switching to zerg.

I'm not a good player by any means, I play SC2 very casually, but why do you build two extra barracks, as opposed to one extra barracks with a reactor? Obviously there's some reason, could explain to me why I shouldn't use a reactor if I'm trying to mass marines?
@MrYimaobuba Reactors take a really long time to build, take up gas that your tanks need and you can't train more marines while it's building. In strategies where timing is critical, efficiency is key.

Even were the videos not extremely well presented and useful in developing a beginner's SC2 builds and technical game knowledge, I would watch these videos because Force is so well mannered. I'm not a good player by any means, I play SC2 very casually, but why do you build two extra barracks, as opposed to one extra barracks with a reactor? Obviously there's some reason, could explain to me why I shouldn't use a reactor if I'm trying to mass marines?

@MrYimaobuba Reactors take a really long time to build, take up gas that your tanks need and you can't train more marines while it's building. In strategies where timing is critical, efficiency is key.

i know i will sound extremely noob but how do you make the green line or if its a colour thing how do u like set a path for a unit to move like if i had a reaper i normaly cbf moving it myself so how do i like set a path for it to move... sorry if i sound confusing.

Even were the videos not extremely well presented and useful in developing a beginner's SC2 builds and technical game knowledge, I would watch these videos because Force is so well mannered. I know very few people that would react in any way other than outright mockery or anger at the poor manners shown by the opponent here.

I'm sorry, but are people complaining about what he says in the video? It's a FREE strat video, he devoted time and effort to putting this up, so you guys who want to learn this game a bit better can get some information... FREE.. if you dont like it, make your own videos. about t the "bragging", they're more credentials than anything. Besides he has the right to brag a little, he's a great player, and an amazing SC caster. Props to the Force team, and everyone else thats putting these up.

the response to the trash got a pretty good chuckle out of me. I wonder how a zerg player would go about countering marine tank builds, maybe instead of getting mutalisks getting hydras and speedlings?

yeah honestly some of these comments are ridiculous, I mean i know there's constructive criticism but the thing about your voice has no bearing on it, hopefully this person doesn't have the same problem in college where your stuck with the professor... also the guy in the video probably is just ranting.... thats the problem with these games you can't pick to play with and adult or a 15yr old... great video btw love the play by plays
