Ah man I was so sad when they cancelled this amazing cartoon, DAMN, executive meddling always trashing everything, but I least this cartoon made me a fan of the games. :P

Also, the funny thing is that I even owned some magazines from the time showing the game but I never had a computer until the 2000's (but before that I played on my friend's house, good thing I was already a fan of adventure games and I was already a fan of Monkey Island too, so I knew this game was badass). :P

Amusing fact: Fox Kids forbid Max from saying his catchphrase in the comics ("DEATH FROM ABOVE! DEATH FROM ABOVE!") but not Sam. This series was also canceled for the same reason as Invader Zim, it got the ratings but the demographic watching were 18-35 year olds, due to the Lucasarts adventure game that got the show made in the first place.

Also cool; Epic Comics (Marvel imprint) printed a prestige edition of the collected Sam and Max comics, it's worth a pretty penny now. Like $200.
