  • Americans are dumb

  • I can't believe even with all this terrible suffering and los they still eat beef and chicken. Scary.

  • Choose to be Vegan... is better for you healthyness!!

  • Choose to be Veg... is better for you healthyness!!

  • Choose to be Veg... is better for you healthyness!!

  • Don't eat meat. Don't get E-coli.

  • eat meat and whole grains and fruits and vegs. do not eat excessive amounts of meat.

  • The question is, do we have it in us to kill an animal? or do we have the strength to kill a cow? Don't ask other people, ASK YOURSELF! -- Also, did you know that pesticides are made from PETROLEUM(AKA gasoline)?? Eat organic!

  • How do we know that the reason our ancestor's brains enlarged was due to an increase in eating corpses? What came first the chicken or the egg? Maybe they started eating meat because they got smarter due to some other fact and were finally able to outsmart the animal. Also, the meat back then was much healthier than what we eat today. Farmed animals are something like 30% fat whereas wild game is 3%. There is many more unhealthy things in meat other than E. Coli.

  • @Nietzschewa I'm going to assume, due to lack of understanding of our evolutionary history, that you have no idea what you're talking about so I'll point out a few things.

    1. The egg.

    2. You can buy lean meat in every supermarket.

    3. E. Coli is about the worst thing you can catch from meat and contamination is extremely rare despite the lies in this video.

Now stop acting like a vegan parrot and learn to think for yourself.

  • @ihaterobbie123 Animal proteins cause cancer; not necessarily animal fats. Lean meats are no safer than fatty meats. Look up "The China Study" and see for yourself.

  • @1imesub Well actually, you're completely wrong and even if you were right what does it have to do with what I said? I never mentioned cancer or proteins and neither did the person I was replying to.

I suggest you watch a video called "The Longevity Gambit" here on youtube by a user called c0nc0rdance.

In the meantime I'd like you to take the advice I gave the other guy, but you chose to ignore, and "stop acting like a vegan parrot and learn to think for yourself."

  • @ihaterobbie123 Oh shut up... You did too mention lean meat. Don't come crying to us when you get breast cancer.

  • @1imesub Let me quote myself, this is the second time you've failed to read what's under your nose.

"I never mentioned cancer or proteins".

What a lovely sentiment at the end of your comment, it makes me think even more highly of vegans. Though I'm afraid I'm more likely to get testicular cancer than breast cancer

  • @ihaterobbie123 I don't want you to get cancer; I don't want anyone to get cancer. I'm just saying, if you choose to continue eating meat, don't say I didn't warn you when it eventually happens.

Stop playing dumb... you said "you can buy lean meat in every supermarket" and you are well aware that "lean meats" contain animal proteins. Stop wasting my time with this nonsense. I watched your little video and it was booooooooring....

  • @1imesub Fatty meats also contain animal proteins. The context of my reply had nothing to do with proteins, it was simply pointing out that the differentiation between battery farmed animals and wild game can be overcome by buying lean meats invalidating the argument that the meat today is somehow different from 100 years ago.

I don't care how boring you find the video, it proves your argument is flawed.

  • @Nietzschewa "Not that I really believe you."

Look at it this way, did the first chicken start out it's life as a chicken, or as an egg? What came first, the foetus or the adult?

Anyway, banter aside, meat's not bad for you if you prepare it properly and don't abuse it. I would only suggest veganism if the individual conserned had a burning desire to sit on their ass for a living and never get pregnant.

Life's too short to hate vegans, I pity them and move on.

  • Comment removed

  • @Nietzschewa "if you didn't get that by now." Forgive me for having a bit of fun, I know you're incapable, it was selfish of me.

And, at last, your true colours shine. Armed with the knowledge that I eat meat you deduced that I'm also a glutton. You're nothing but a prejudice worm with nothing better to do in life but spread the hate you so hastily assert you see in me.

Here's a clue, it's only a username. You've manufactured an idea of my personality from your own bigotry.

  • @Nietzschewa I eat meat for a few reasons.

    1. I don't want to read the lables on thousands of supermarket products.

    2. I don't want to impose on people's hospitality with my personal opinions.

    3. I don't want to take suppliments or carefully plan my meals or rely on GM/treated crops to supply nutrients otherwise ONLY found in meat.

    5. It's filling and delicious.

I think you've forgotten your place. You're the one insulting people's diets. Your level is the one I'll never stoop to.

  • @Nietzschewa

    1. No, it's just one less stress in my life. I have a job and I'm a student.

    2. Becomming a vegan for the environment will only allow us to cram as many humans onto the planet as possible.

    3. Yes I do, I also understand the pests they become when they escape into the wild decimating native species and decreasing biodiversity.

    4. I deleted it, forgotten it now.

    5.Hey, I'm only being honest.

Sorry about the parrot comment. I try to encourage critical thinking with a slap.

  • Larry King is a terrible interviewer. And i cant believe these people are still eating meat.

  • For fucks sake, cook your meat, especially when you're eating from a non-fresh source.

  • Some plants may have E. Coli bacteria...This is RELATED WİTH CLEANLİNESS

  • With the China Study that Campbell wrote, he also fails to mention the county of Tuoli - a group of Chinese people who have one of the lowest rates of cancer and heart disease (as well as low cholesterol) yet they consume the highest amounts of meat, fat and dairy of any province. Their rates were far healthier than almost vegetarian provinces. Why on earth would Campbell leave that out? Oh YES, because it disproves everything he stands for! Go check the original study for yourselves!

  • @Eyecandy4u LOL - THAT'S HYSTERICAL.... Denise Minger.... she is paid by the industry to knock Colin Campbell.... people just need to Google "Veg Source - China Study author Colin Campbell slaps down critic". Denise is nothing but a liar, and promotes the Western Diet, she is subsidized by the Weston Price Foundation.

  • @UMakeTheConnection I see nothing funny about it. Why don't you go to her blog (rawfoodsos com) and see for yourself? She is NOT associated with Weston Price Foundation at all. Instead of attacking the person, attack the facts. If she's really is wrong or a liar, you should be able to find facts to back up your own claims about meat - with studies and references please. Let me know what studies you want and I'll post them here for you to go check out.

  • @Eyecandy4u I stand corrected about the Weston Price Foundation, however quoted on the web page for the University of Conneticut, under her biography, it states:

"Dr. Rodriguez has an active research program that has been extramurally funded by agencies including USDA, NIH, the American Heart Association, the National Dairy Council, the National Cattlemens Beef Association, and the Egg Nutrition Center."

I see this as a huge conflict of interest.

  • @Eyecandy4u does that have to do with any differences between how they treat the animals they eat and factory farming? I believe it's the way we raise the animals we eat in the factory farming system in america that is causing all these health problems for people..

  • Actually, grains and simple starch have been implicated in ancient peoples to have caused war and disease via farming and accumulation of wealth. The health of neolithic people who ate more grains, sugar and carb are smaller and more frail compared to their paleo ancestors. So the whole idea that meat makes you angry and aggressive is not true. In fact, sugar and grains can cause aggression and irritability. Also increases testosterone levels via insulin after consumption which meat does not.

  • @Eyecandy4u I believe the point of starches and grains, is the "whole food", not the refined product. Our body doesn't recognize white bleached flour the same way it would for 100% whole grains. Eat the whole potato rather than white pasta, etc. Basic simple, whole foods, just like nature intended.

  • You can't see bacteria? Wow, I never knew that. That is interesting. All these years of science class in school and me doing my own research, I never knew you couldn't see bacteria. What's next, viruses can't be killed with antibiotics?

  • We've ALWAYS EATEN MEAT!

  • @TheAtomicDon

by "we've" do you mean your family? Cause the earliest humans were vegan.

Infact all organisms started off as vegans, it is because of the photosynthizers (plants, algae.bacteria etc.) not only provided oxygen but a food source. As long as men have eaten meat there have been cancers and many other illness and dieases.

  • @ChilenoPiscean22 And you know this how? The earliest humans probably ate whatever they could get their hands on. This includes vegetables, seaweed, insects, the grass, dirt and ANIMALS! Disease comes with being a species. To each their own but Veganism is ridiculous.

  • @TheAtomicDon

I know this by picking up a fucking biology book. The word "our earliest ancesters were vegan" wrriten as clear as day.

Also try learning how to read, I CLEARLY explain how ALL organism relied on PHOTOSYSNTHZIERS in the beggining for life, that INCLUDES us humans.

So now tell me how veganism is ridiculous??

  • @ChilenoPiscean22 I would but I'm busy tearing into a piece of MEAT! :-)

  • @TheAtomicDon

Yay for cannbalism! make sure you put your dead relatives to good use and eat them as well!! Yay I bet you idolize people like jeffery Dumer and that guy from silence in the lambs OH dont forget albert fish! im sure you have pics of them in your room, anyways have fun!!

  • @ChilenoPiscean22 Thanks for answering your own question and proving my point.

  • i will never again eat another burger. only veg burgers for me!!!!

  • Vegan hippies.

  • why not juz give up meat entirely...these moms are asking for death, and they should tell world not to eat meat, simply because we don't need too

  • Truth right here.

  • Either they buy into the propaganda, or they don't know how to change the diet society has conditioned them to eat.

  • The misinformation in T. Colin Campbell's book does NOT match the data of the actual China Study itself.

Do yourself a favor, vegans, go to a medical university library and dig up the China Study. Read it full text and carefully.

You will see this for yourselves.

Google "Anthony Colpo The China Study More Vegan Nonsense"

  • @fatlies

China is home to many buddist, and just like hindu's (another of the biggest populas) 1 of the biggest rules is NOT to consume any living/dead creatures. If you are some how suggesting that being vegan is not healthy why not go and tell that to the 95 year old buddist monk that even though he has been vegan for most of his life he soon will be damaged by his diet....im sure he needs the laugh

  • Meat is POISON. Meat is Murder. Meat is killing our children, destroying our future, polluting the waters and the environment. Because of eating meat, we live in fear of E.Coli, superbug MRSA, salmonella, dibetes, heart attack, Ebolla, Nippah virus, swine flu, CJD, Avian Flu.. Meat is DIRTY !!

Meat should be banned to save lives and to save our planet

  • You are right.... thank you for the comment. It's nice to see that some are aware of what the corporations have sold us through deceptive marketing and propaganda. Poison is what poison is.... and then they treat the diseases brought about by this "poison" with pharmaceuti-kill drugs - more poison.

  • @slicingwater The only reason carrots, spinach and any other vegetation is spoiled from Ecoli is due to factory farming nearby, or the raw sewage that is sprayed on our once "pure" vegetables, in the name of "fertilizer". You really need to keep up with this before you spew lies all over the place. Ecoli lives in the guts of animals not plant food.

  • Most food is grown with NH4, second your pure vegetables are genectically engineerd to grow faster and bigger, and more and more pesticides are being used on your them.

  • @slicingwater

That is why you should buy ORGANIC vegatables and the rule of thumb is that smaller is better.

  • @slicingwater

read something before you speak it looks like the meat is contradicting your opinion and making you stupid

  • @slicingwater how would humans not be smart without meat? narrow minded

  • @slicingwater "without meat humans wouldn't be smart without it." Now that is one of the most untrue, ridiculous, unfounded, unreasonable, and unscientific statements I've heard!!! Not sustainable in the least. Countless intellectual elites have been vegetarians.

  • @enoch1844 Okay produce a study tht says the reason why humans are smart today was not because of our ancestors devouring flesh of other animals but becuase we were vegetarians. If the retort is going to be you first, then fine I'll be happy to bring those sources. Lets see if you can do the same.

  • @slicingwater LOL!!! You are hilarious!! No one has ever been as silly as you to even suggest such a ludicrous idea!! Show any study that shows that eating meat makes one more intelligent. There are several to the contrary, although they aren't sure if being vegetarian makes one more intelligent or if more intelligent persons are vegetarians.

  • @enoch1844 You posted three comments all of which don't produce a study that says brain development was not associated with eating meat but eating plant matter in our human ancestry. Either put up or shut up.

  • @slicingwater Obviously you didn't read my last post very carefully. I challenged you to produce even a single study showing that eating dead animals is beneficial to good brain development. I have read two... which, when I have time, and if I can still find them, show that a vegetarian diet, and even more so, a vegan diet is beneficial to good brain development and better character. Back at ya, in your own words.... "Either put up or shut up." Hmm... think I know where one is....

  • @enoch1844 It's due to the addition of cooked meat to our diets in ancient times that our brains and stomachs grew larger and our appendices shrank.

  • @ChanGengYun I'd like to see some documentation and real science on that. How could eating meat make ones brain grow larger except by contracting a disease or infection causing swelling?

  • @enoch1844 Actually, most scientists if not all agree that our ancestors,if you believe in evolution, had their brains enlarged which isn't normal due to the addition of meat in our diets.I'd like to see documentation saying unwise, meaning many agree. That's just how our bodies worked. To escape/hunt/gather resources more efficiently,we needed more brain matter to think and aid our reflexes. It's not a difficult concept to grasp.

  • @ChanGengYun I have never heard of anything like this... and it makes no sense at all. It takes more brains to collect seed, till the ground, keep the weeds from overgrowing, harvest, find a preservation method so the harvest will survive till the next season, than to follow a herd of mammoths, elk, water buffalo, etc., around, and kill and eat them. And the latter's life expectancy would be much less than the formers, thus lessening the time to gain knowledge, learn, apply, test, train, etc.

  • @ChanGengYun Sorry... but I could only find a couple hundred articles showing that vegetarians are more intelligent than those that eat animal flesh....

"The typical adult veggie had a childhood IQ of around 105 - around five points higher than those who continued to eat meat as they grew up. "

    What???? Can't post links???

  • @ChanGengYun Nope... can't post links. Another study says vegans have a 10 point advantage over meat eaters. According to Benjamin Franklin, the 18th century statesman and scientist, a vegetarian diet results in “greater clearness of head and quicker comprehension.” "For as long as men massacre animals, they will kill each other. Indeed, he who sows the seeds of murder and pain, cannot reap joy and love." Pythagoras. Yep... he was fairly intelligent... and a vegetarian!

  • @enoch1844 Maybe because our brains are already developed?Any meals added after our brain grew larger doesn't count.IQ is one matter and an evolutionary trait like larger than normal brain in our species is another. It's really simple to understand.True, there are smart people who were vegetarians but not all of them are.Mostly due to the hours put in studying instead of relying on your diet to get As.

  • @slicingwater Regardless of which it is they live longer and healthier.

  • Dr. Campbell sorta looks like Dr. Death...o.O

Isn't Larry King older than Dr. Campbell too?? lol

  • meat is not worth the risk... at all. the alternatives, meatless meat, etc are diverse, healthy, crammed with nutrients and just delish.

  • Meat tastes good, that is all that matters to me

  • then you should care about your family. If you care nothing about yourself and the horrors the animals live and die for. Isn't a bit strange to you that people kill animals who have feelings, are smarter than cats and dog, which in many countries are eaten, and live just to die for you? Isn't that a bit selfish when it is known to be horrible for your health?

  • I care about the animals, but it is nature, they are meant to be eaten, and I am in High School, I have no family to care about ;)

If we don't eat them some other animal will. Cats and Dogs to no deserve to be eaten. I stay away from red meat most of the time, once every other month. I LOVE CHICKEN AND FISH, I hate pork and ham and stuff, rabbits are to cute to eat.

  • It is not natural for animals to live in a factory farm. You should care about what you eat. Why did you come to watch and comment here? I think pigs are cute and they are smarter then dogs..so why is it OK to eat animals who mourn the loss of their babies and die in a horrible way. Please go watch how they live and then come back and tell me this is OK and nature. If you study the bodies of true carnivores, cats and dogs, you will know that we can not disgest animals like they can.

  • I saw, I watch a documentary, I didn't care

  • which one? If you have no heart then why are you here? I want to watch this and see people saying things like this and I don't eat animals nor does the person that posted this. Are you TRYING to be insulting? I wouldn't go and watch how to make pig soup or whatever and start saying that people shouldn't eat pig..why are you trying to be mean? Be kind and respectful please and watch Earthlings. Thank you!

  • I forgot the name my Vegan math teacher made us watch it. I honestly do care but I turn a blind eye, cause I guess, well I don't care, it is hard to explain. I have 1 Vegan friend and 2 Vegetarian, I respect their life choices, but the Vegan is a bitch I am sorry that "I'm better than you attitude is a bitchy way to approach things."

  • Well, i am seriously happy for you. You can put a sentence together and have a great mind. If I came off as bitchy I am sorry. I have 2 companies and fight for animal rights all week too. This was the first chance I got to watch this video. I apologize. You are a nice person and I thought I was being nice. OMG!! BTW.. this week we stopped a bunny toss game..real bunnies..and Queenie the elephant is being taken from an abusive owner. So I have so much going on! It is hard to be different. xo

  • No you didn't come off as bitchy your trying to make a point, I understand, I wasn't talking about you. And animal cruelty is something we can agree on, Michael Vick, should never have been allowed to play again. And that is good you stopped that game. And when a pet gets taken away from an abusive owner it is always a good day :D

  • Well, I am so glad you are open minded. There are very few of you out there. I am glad your teacher is allowed to show this documentaries at school! That is huge. I wish you all the best in life and stay sweet and open too! That is what we all must learn and you have it already. I appreciate that. I wish the younger people were more like you! I pray you have a divine life. xo

  • You 2 xo

Keep fighting for your cause, people who give up on what they want annoys me XD

  • lol ahahahahah

so, you don't care what you're really paying for? Or don't care to educate yourself on what's really in the meat that you are eating? No. Like others on this page, afraid of the truth. What a poor quality to have.

  • Meat is yummy

  • BINGO.

    nothing but blind.

  • I just don't feel like arguing with someone as close minded as you.

  • Oh by the way I think your culturist, you hate people for eating meat which is a culture I suppose, your the one with the poor quality.

  • Did I say I hate people for eating meat? hm? Please pinpoint that statement from myself, please. Hello?

Like I said before, you ignore the truth and the facts which puts you at I'm guessing... 13 years old? That sums it up right there very well.

  • 18 years old thank you, I know the facts, I DON'T CARE!!! I eat it in moderation, EVERYTHING IN MODERATION!!! You close minded cum guzzler.

  • Live and Let Live.

  • Peace and Love!
