Shouldn't you put the front wheel on a 2*4 piece of wood because the front wheel is lower on the center stand. Owned both zx14 & concours 14, noticed both are sensitive to overfill in the engine oil. when I filled my shaft drive oil and did it like you did, oil started seeping out of the shaft seals. slightly under filling the shaft drive IMO is better than slightly overfill.
The key is to fill the final drive to the threads. Do not spin the wheel to get more oil in. The final drive will seep/spray all over the rear wheel if it is over filled. The FD does not need to be precise, just replace the FD oil every other oil change and you will be OK. The threads at the fill hole would be the high level. As long as you can see oil in the FD you will have lubricant on the gears.
