you can´t judge an Egyptian because this is not their typical dance, anyhow this is an example of an Egyptian dancing KHALIJI, and it`s exactly what americans do to the bellydance, just some technical, but nothing with the expression.

I love Misr, and everything about this beautiful land! If you were to see me, you would think that you were looking at an Egyptian woman. Yes I am American. Some astrologers believe that if you resemble another "people", then that is your soul; therefore Egyptian. Me, in a family of natural Italian blondes. When I was in Misr, Ms. Zaki and Ms. Fouad liked how I danced; go figure, for an American! I have the feeling, I can not describe it! A good dancer is a good dancer.

I am sorry to say but I did not like this clip. Lucy you do Egyptian to perfection, therefore stick to what you know. Everything was wrong.

Thanks for sharing! This show is great. I don't really love this khaligi, but it's so nice to see it again. There's also a beautiful interpretation of "ya msafer wahdek" in this show, I think.
