The goverment and party should make further use of the emotion and nantionalism arising from earthquake to unite Chinese identity. We are proud of being Chinese, although the goverment and part gets lots to improve and China is not as developed as western countries. I love China.

Even now when I watch this vedio, I cannot help tears drop out. I am a people from that area. This vedio recalls the scaring and tragic memory of the 5.12 earthquake. The goverment and the armed force did good during this earth quake. Some soldiers lost their live in resucue action.They were as young as the youngth buried in the ruin. They also had parents, brothers and sisters. Wish all the survivors and life a pease life. Some of them saddly committed suicde after the earthquake.

CNN is using this opportunity to conduct political propaganda. Instead of help but bashing China. There is no mention about great recue from the People Liberation Arm and local government. China is far better than any other country is the world in terms of recue efforts for disaster recovery. Much better than that of US for sure.

speaking of soldiers, i gotta mention the recent experience i had with firemen. people have preconceived ideas about how Chinese people eat dogs and the such. i tell u what, days ago, my pet husky dog Cookie got her foot stuck in bathroom door, which was painful. we called up the policed and they showed up along with THREE firemen and a huge TRUCK, we told them it was our dog, but thats HOW they showed up, and they managed to get Cookie outta the door in a while! I was moved to tears.

I have never seen such a detailed video of the sequence from the beggining to the after math of an earthquake, its very emotional to watch this video. I was able to handle the first couple minutes but once I saw the baby bleeding at 2:49 I will admit I just broke down, this really takes you into the horror even though thankfully I have never experienced this. Great video in terms of being able to capture everything but thats what makes it so upsetting.

@ParadiseQ 难道地震发生时，解放军就能从天而降？一看这视频就知道是地震发­生的最开始几个小时，再说很多地方是被孤立了，解放军和一些救援­人员都用徒步空降才到达灾区的。而且，你没看到视频里组织救援的­那些人吗，很多都是领导吧。我想无论是好人还是坏人，在那个时候­都会团结在一起，都会血气方刚地去救人的。不要再说那些没用的了­，我们谁都没在现场，只能用新区凭吊死去的人吧。
