to all those out there saying that this is a frontside you have been terribly mistaken... frontside is when you approach and jump on the rail or box from your frontside which then means you are sliding down with ur back facing down the mountain and you looking over your shoulders.... this is a backside because you jump on from your backside... even though he does not execute it perfectly and does a much more complicated trick instead in later half of the video

If you notice they wear helmets on big jumps when attempting big air tricks, on little boxes like this theres a 1% chance they will screw up, and if they do, nothing bad will really happen, maybe a bruise but thats it, so point is they wear helmets on big air stuff and on little stuff that is easy to them, there really is no point. Backside is when you ride up to the object with your heels or your back facing it, and fronside is when you ride up to the object with your toes or chest facing the object.

In a backside board slide you come up to the rail with your back and your heels facing the object and then slide it. This is the same for any grind or spin, bc 50-50 ect....
