I dont remember the details of it.

Try putting yourself in his shoes. That is his brother by blood, but he is a man in his own right, and probably wants to build his life on his own - same as his brother did. Then they will have a real connection. If you shared a Father with a Warren Buffet, would you want him to give you his money, or would you want to have some success yourself, so that you share that experience - be equals.
He doesn't seem like a wants or needs money, he seems content with his life. Its about self respect.

We also don't know whether or not he offered money and his brother was the kind of person who wants to do things himself and refused to take it. Contrast to the republicans. They have no morals. BTW, your comment about Palin is 100% out of line. Palin appears to have a superb family, the only issue being the teen daughter's pregnancy. I'm 49 and have known many, many completely dedicated parents who still have a kid get off track somehow. You're only 24; reserve judgement until you've raised a family yourself.
