u think thts bad i live right on the CT river in 07 it flooded so bad my whole F**** street was underwater... I had to take a canoe to get the mail! and my basement was a swimming pool
That's a lot of water. I don't live near the Connecticut River, but from what I can see with the water approaching the road and tree trunks partially submerged- this is not something that happens very often. And I've lived in Connecticut all my life TOO (not "two").
If you lived in CT all your life and this is the worst flooding you have seen, my guess is that you were in a convent... This is mild compared to some of the flooding that has happened here in the state over the years...
