Also, people here seem to think that Amanda is Simone's vocal TEACHER. That's not true. Amanda's role with Epica is to help Simone with pronunciation and accent, not the singing itself. AND, she does some choir and backup singing. She never taught Simone how to sing or anything.

Simone has in several interviews said that she takes singing lessons from professionals, but she never mentioned Amanda being one of them. In the "Consign to Oblivion" DVD, she says that Amanda's main role at the time was helping her out with an english/american prunounciation in her singing. But as Amanda became a close friend of the band, she's been helping out with backup vocals when they've been making albums.
