I used to work for Ameriquest up until they shut the doors. I would still be working there if they stayed open. The Quest was a great company with excellent training and great pay! LO's there did nothing different then LO's at any other company. If values were being inflated talk to the appraiser!! Nobody was complaining when you could use your house as an atm. I worked for Ameriquest Mortgage in 1997 for about 6 months, before I got sick of all the lying and cheating that was going on. I saw first hand all the tactics that the loan officers and branch/region managers were pulling in order to increase their profit margins:

(1) inflating appraisal values - to increase loan amounts which equals greater profits for the Ameriquest

Ameriquest was filled with greedy criminals that did not care about people were the customers.
