The game was aimed at there were 2 teams, you had to find as many ores as possible to get your score up, but people stopped doing that and started building instead, so it was discontinued after the first month but people still had downloads to keep playing.

Yes, Notch was inspired by Infiniminer. I think that's fine. It improved on the original concept in pretty much every way. It was more streamlined, had a better aesthetic, was more polished, and the Survival mode is far superior to this. Redstone, anyone?

I kid I kid! The character sprites look so much like Earthbound, but you can easily tell the game isn't anything close to Earthbound. Still looks like a neat game, though I'm sorry Notch is making money off your idea. But let's just agree that Infiniminer was the predecessor of Minecraft, and that Notch made Minecraft with Infiniminer as it's inspiration.

The game was aimed at there were 2 teams, you had to find as many ores as possible to get your score up, but people stopped doing that and started building instead, so it was discontinued after the first month but people still had downloads to keep playing.
Notch was someone who liked it and wanted to continue playing it so he made minecraft, which he said in one of his videos is a clone and is based off infiniminer on his channel Nizzotch. So stop complaining and play this game for its purpose

Dear god. Minecraft is a clone. Its a CLONE. Get over it, its a rip off that was done better and bigger. But also remember every single FPS ever made would never of been made without Wolfenstien. Same thing. Terraria, Minecraft, (dare I say) Fortress craft would never of existed without this game. It's not about being a ripoff or raging about this, it should be about giving some credit where its due.
