@LinkOfZoras well thats because of the way you played it, there were enought light bubble to just dash from one to another and then calculate your path in advance. i never found myself waiting 3-5 min. the only time i'd spent in a bubble is to analyze the environment to see if there was any power up or scanning to do. dark aether made it more challengin and i liked it. not to mention the 3 encounters with dark samus were great.
I laughed when Bozon and Matt said "The Wii remote may be no Mouse & Keyboard but"...Are you kidding me!? Mouse & keyboard has Zero immersion factor, it's a dated archiac set up and it's just all around cheap. The Wii remote however completey immersed me in this game, it was flat out amazing....I felt like i was 'samus' and the on screen visuals because of the 1:1 Wii remote aiming were truly next gen, magical and amazing.
This game is perfect 10/10, if u dont have it ur missing out on the best adventure of this adventure. With Metroid Prime Trilogy out, theres no excuse for Wii owners not to have this game.

In my opinion i love metroid prime 3 the best but i also like metroid prime 1 for gamecube because i love how on the first one you have a lot of powerups and you can change your weapon from powerbeam to wave beam to ice beam and plasma :D i also love on the first one how you had the termovisor and the xray but corruptions storyline is the best♥
I own a Wii, a 360 and a PS3 and I my opinion there aren't many action-adventures one all three consoles that are even close to be so well designed and fun to play as MP3.
@bland9876 I see that your comment is 7 months old but I just wanted to add to your question about the 10 min length. There used to be a 10 minute max length for everyone, period. Now it's 15 minutes, but if you get a certain amount of views or subscribers, etc, they up your max length (not sure exactly how it works)... But yeah, you can find 2 hour long videos on here, but not any random person can create an account an upload a movie.

@Maverickdude97 I think the problem with Nintendo games and voice acting isn't based on the character but on the developer. I think Japanese developers just can't write for western audiences. Like 99% of all Jap games that I've played that had voice acting seemed tacky & lame. The voice acting in Metroid Prime 3 wasn't that bad (at least they didn't make Samus talk)... And Prime is made by Retro Studios, an American studio. But then take Other M, made by Japanese Team Ninja, and you have fail.

However, I WILL say that you're the first person I've heard say Hyper Mode Difficulty is easy. As for myself, I wouldn't know because I haven't played any of the harder difficulty yet.

@Man1cmanMario About the difficulty, I spoke objectively, Metroid Prime 1 and 2 are 5 times harder than 3, what does not make them hard games, but makes MP3 an exceptionally easy combat adventure for the people who finished the first two games.
The very final level in MP3 delivers a challenge in Hyper which pops out a bit, but doesn't helpt to call MP3 equally difficult to its forerunners.
Ah, I guess that makes it more sensible. However i would rank 2 above 1 and 3 because it took me three times as long to finish it than it did for me to finish 1, 3 doesn't have the light suit or teh anhilator beam, and 2 was my first METROID (not just Metroid Prime, but METROID) game ever,aside from when I played Fusion for 5 minutes at Wal-Mart back when it came out. There are other reasons why that make more sense (hardest of the 3 for me, and I DID play its Hard Mode, it was creepy at itmes).

My meaning: 9,5. Good things: The game had a lot of great bosses and a lot of upgrades. Bad things: Your ship had a lot of stuff it didn't need and when you have acquired an item you almost wouldn't use it more like Screw Attack. So conclusion: Good game, hours of fun but not as flexible as the other Prime games.
Im about to play this amazing game on hyper mode as the conduit on severe mode, red steel 2 ninja mode and mario galaxy 2 all 242 stars didnt quite push me like old school games did. Has anyone done this on hyper mode and did it really challenge them?
@TheMrAdax Congratz, and it makes it harder, yes. It's kinda annoying when they enter Hypermode all the time (the enemies) and you will lose a whole Energy tank if you use all your phazon.

I could never get into this game. I LOVED Prime 1 and 2 but I haven't made it past the first few stages in this game. It just feels boring and uninspired. I hate the voice acting, I hate the lack of feeling "lost". It's just not Metroid. I may pick it back up later and try.

I was one of the people who avoided the Wii like the plague. Even Twilight Princess failed to capture me and convince me the Wii was worth paying attention to, though I enjoyed it highly.
Then I played this game. Metroid Prime 3 easily looks as good as many PS3/360 games, though it may not be through sheer polygon count, but through top class presentation, amazing art direction and clever usage of the Wii's modest power... and all on an early Wii title.

altho' metroid was made before halo...the 1st 3d metroid was released in 2002...the 1st halo was released in 2001 so..halo was released before the 3d/fps metroid...technicly metroid was out way before halo but it was a 2d sidescroller...(im not a halo fanboy btw...i never owned a microsoft console and i probably never will..im happy with my wii and ps3 and i maybe played halo once or twice...im just sayin')

I love the first two but the third one kinda let me down. It just didn't feel like a metroid prime game with all the in-game dialogue, feeble boss battles, and the fact that your beams stacked so you couldn't switch between them. The enemies were unchallenging and unvaried, and even though the environments let you go to different planets they still felt closed in cos the fast travel ship idea meant you could pretty much go anywhere at any time, making the game lose its sense of enormity.
It sure as hell does.And why do you metroid fans ALWAYS bring up Halo?Because its an awesome sci fi that possibly is better than your favorite sci fi?Probally
This game for the most part didnt seem linear to me, yes compared to Echoes&Prime1 this was easy but not linear. I think this game just doesnt get the credit it deserves at all, Mp3 is better than Twilight princess on so many levels yet its always put below Zelda. Also Corruption's graphics are better than Mario Galaxy, I dont know what IGN is thinking

Had a hard time with Prime 1 and 2 due to being a Southpaw with 2-stick FPS controls. The Wii-mote controls fixed this problem beautifully.

Like 99% of all Jap games that I've played that had voice acting seemed tacky & lame. The voice acting in Metroid Prime 3 wasn't that bad (at least they didn't make Samus talk)... And Prime is made by Retro Studios, an American studio. But then take Other M, made by Japanese Team Ninja, and you have fail.

such a stupid review, not only it sounds like everything in MP3 being better than in MP1/2, not even thinking about why for real (MP3 is simply meant to be a halfway different game, and it matched your wishes, that's it); also acting like being semi pro gamers, but absolutely not making lines between casual and hc aspects (i.e., this game being IMMENSELY easy, combat-wise) and, especially, saying ADVANCED AIMING MODE=GOD, but aiming in the ENTIRE review like shit

@his1nightmare Geez, if you don't like the game, then just don't play it. If you don't like it, but own it, sell it. However, I WILL say that you're the first person I've heard say Hyper Mode Difficulty is easy. As for myself, I wouldn't know because I haven't played any of the harder difficulty yet.

@Man1cmanMario I love the game, I put the Metroid Prime Trilogy in matter of awesomeness above every game (series) ever made, so no, I don't commented like this because there is anything wrong with MP3, except for the fact that everyone with a sense for quality would, speaking of -individual- games, rank MP1 above 2 and 2 above 3.
No, I commented because this review sucks, sounding like a fan fappage of some noobs just telling everything what comes to their minds instead of thinking before.

@Man1cmanMario About the difficulty, I spoke objectively, Metroid Prime 1 and 2 are 5 times harder than 3, what does not make them hard games, but makes MP3 an exceptionally easy combat adventure for the people who finished the first two games.
The very final level in MP3 delivers a challenge in Hyper which pops out a bit, but doesn't helpt to call MP3 equally difficult to its forerunners.

Ah, I guess that makes it more sensible. However i would rank 2 above 1 and 3 because it took me three times as long to finish it than it did for me to finish 1, 3 doesn't have the light suit or teh anhilator beam, and 2 was my first METROID (not just Metroid Prime, but METROID) game ever,aside from when I played Fusion for 5 minutes at Wal-Mart back when it came out. There are other reasons why that make more sense (hardest of the 3 for me, and I DID play its Hard Mode, it was creepy at itmes).

@deathsmileyinc Wow, something's wrong with your sensor bar, then. Or its you. I have next to NO trouble when I play. same with other motion controls from other games. That's what made Other M more enjoyable for me as far as combat. Man i don't get why people hate that game so much...so what if Samus sounds like that? It's a suiting voice, to me. Also, do they just ignore all the AWESOME stunts she does in that game!? Meh, anyway, try positioning yourself and/or your bar in various locations.

@worldtaker999 Um...so people are stupid for liking Dead or Alive or the Xbox Ninja Gaiden, aka two of the BEST series in their genres? Doom 3 is one of my favorite games, and Ihave it for Xbox. Star Wars Battlefront is fun to ANYONE I've played it with. Halo 2 is meh, but 1 had fun Warthog Tag, great multiplayer, SAD but EPIC story,epic final level (especially if on co-op and legendary).Halo series has NOTHING on Fire Emblem, though. Or Metroid But Halo 1 is my all-time fav game JUST BY ITSELF.

My meaning: 9,5. Good things: The game had a lot of great bosses and a lot of upgrades. Bad things: Your ship had a lot of stuff it didn't need and when you have acquired an item you almost wouldn't use it more like Screw Attack. So conclusion: Good game, hours of fun but not as flexible as the other Prime games.

Im about to play this amazing game on hyper mode as the conduit on severe mode, red steel 2 ninja mode and mario galaxy 2 all 242 stars didnt quite push me like old school games did. Has anyone done this on hyper mode and did it really challenge them?

@TheMrAdax Congratz, and it makes it harder, yes. It's kinda annoying when they enter Hypermode all the time (the enemies) and you will lose a whole Energy tank if you use all your phazon.

This game looks awesome, and one day i will probably get a wii so i can play it, but i dont like how the guys doing this review are ripping into prime 1 and 2.
Ive completed prime 1 and im playing prime 2 at the moment, and they are seriously two of the best games ive ever played, and these reviewers shouldnt rip into them just because they are on a last gen system.
I juat think thats unfair because metroid prime 1 and 2 are fucking awesome games.

I could never get into this game. I LOVED Prime 1 and 2 but I haven't made it past the first few stages in this game. It just feels boring and uninspired. I hate the voice acting, I hate the lack of feeling "lost". It's just not Metroid. I may pick it back up later and try.

I was one of the people who avoided the Wii like the plague. Even Twilight Princess failed to capture me and convince me the Wii was worth paying attention to, though I enjoyed it highly.
Then I played this game. Metroid Prime 3 easily looks as good as many PS3/360 games, though it may not be through sheer polygon count, but through top class presentation, amazing art direction and clever usage of the Wii's modest power... and all on an early Wii title.

altho' metroid was made before halo...the 1st 3d metroid was released in 2002...the 1st halo was released in 2001 so..halo was released before the 3d/fps metroid...technicly metroid was out way before halo but it was a 2d sidescroller...(im not a halo fanboy btw...i never owned a microsoft console and i probably never will..im happy with my wii and ps3 and i maybe played halo once or twice...im just sayin')

I love the first two but the third one kinda let me down. It just didn't feel like a metroid prime game with all the in-game dialogue, feeble boss battles, and the fact that your beams stacked so you couldn't switch between them. The enemies were unchallenging and unvaried, and even though the environments let you go to different planets they still felt closed in cos the fast travel ship idea meant you could pretty much go anywhere at any time, making the game lose its sense of enormity.

This game for the most part didnt seem linear to me, yes compared to Echoes&Prime1 this was easy but not linear. I think this game just doesnt get the credit it deserves at all, Mp3 is better than Twilight princess on so many levels yet its always put below Zelda. Also Corruption's graphics are better than Mario Galaxy, I dont know what IGN is thinking
