  • certainly has the lat feel brill well done

  • @darwindunn Thankyou for the comment.

  • @gatolokynho I'm guessing someone does not know what playing with feeling actually is.

I'm not going to sit and play something that comes from the heart with no emotion or expression.

  • Great solo man!!! I have just purchased this guitar and started practicing. What is the music in the background>?

    Kind regards

  • @pramsystemsdirect Thankyou for the comment

I hope you really enjoy the new guitar :)

It amazing how well it feels to play.

I cannot remember the name of the backing track i am afraid :(

But most of my backing tracks are either from old Guitarist magazine cd's and total guitar magazine.

you might want to check out guitarbackingtrack on the web.

  • Too much reverb on the guitar and not enough in the backing track, but definately a beautiful Latimer inspired tone and playing technique. I think Latimer would have gone a little more outside of himself in the middle, but overall, great job man!

  • @OZK033 Thankyou for the comment.

Yes i agree with everything you just said.

I was tempted to go all out with the middle but held back because i wanted to give it more feel.

But yes Latimer would more than likely have put more into it.

It was done in one take and then i noticed the reverb afterwards :( (seemed ok when i recorded it)

  • nice to hear some great guitar :-)

  • @donnymart Thankyou fir the comment.

just wish i had a new soundcard to start recording again :(

  • Mr. Andrew Latimer and Camel inspired, hear and feel the inspiration, well done sir.

  • @qqqqqdraft Thankyou very much for the comment :)

  • Really nice! You managed to emulate & honor Latimer's style and tone and essence while maintaining your own voice.

  • @zayatz Thankyou for the comment and hopefully i will have a better one coming with more of Latimers style involved.

  • Wow! I don't lesson twice a lot. And I do for your dedicaded song to Andy.

Huge fan and lucky to share little conversations with Andy, I love Camel. My favorite band since 1975... So, thanks: guitar sounds like Camel's, wish you the best. Thanks heat!

  • @papayeti Thankyou for the comment.

I'm hoping to make another video with the Burny guitar i've got.

Funny out of all the guitars to choose from i go for the same make Latimer uses ;)

  • parece Camnel, es tuya la cancion? is improv? are your song?

  • Esto es un improvisado solo sobre un apoyo rastrea encontré. Quise dar justo alguna clase de dedicación al camello tratando de poner algún sentimiento en lo quiere que Andrew Latimer siempre parezca hacer con sus solos.

  • Good work mate. Lovely phrasing. Button up your shirt though comrade ;)

  • Thanks for the comment mate.

and yes i should have done lol

It was when we was having that heat wave and i could not sleep so i stayed up all night and recorded this about 5-6 in the morning with no sleep :D

I might do another one at some point now that i have my Burny guitar to get that better tone.

  • I think you're interpretations and phrasing are right on to Andrew's emotion. Carry On...

  • Thankyou very much for the comment :)

  • great tune

  • Thankyou hun x

  • awesome! im subscribing but im new to guitars im 12 years old and 9 months playing guitar i caught up fast but why do u use the thumb?

  • Thanks for the comment.

Habit i guess but two things.

It really helps with bar chords and stopping the bottom strings from ringing.

because i'm playing mainly on the top strings i don't want any sound from the bottom so thats why i use my thumb on this perticular video.

Watch one of my acoustic videos to see what i mean about the bar chords.

  • thanks could u check my videos and put a comment cuz ur a guitar god almost and id like some tips maybe thnx

  • Very very very good . Bravo. Buon Proseguimento

  • Thankyou

  • Verry good Man

  • Thankyou for the comment

  • you have the spirit of "the great one" my friend

  • Thankyou.

I tried to give as much emotion to the playing that i could.

Latimer always plays with passion and soul and me personaly i think it shows what can be played if you just close your eyes and go with it.

btw i shit myself when you said the spirit of the great one i just had to check on the Camel site to see if he was still alive : |

Don't scare me like that again i hope he gets to full strength and brings out another cracking album.

    Latimer FTW!!

  • Excellent

  • Thankyou for the comment.

  • latimer is a god!!

    this is very awesome aswell.

  • Thankyou

  • nice playing ,, but wich song is that ?

  • It's just a backing track i found everything i play is just improvised.

I try'd to just put lots of feeling into the playing to give that little bit of emotion that Latimer always seems to have.

  • Great sound.

    Thanks

  • Thankyou for the comment much appreciated ;)

  • Love the gat, i have a black prestige, you can see it in my I understand studio version, i don't play it enough, but i love it for sure. BTW this rocks, Thanks for the send. :)
