The japanese music is indeed much better and fits the theme better, too. Another moment in which the Japanese music was awesome was during the end of the Saiyan saga when Goku was telling Krillin to spare Vegeta's life.

@Lillypie19 No offence, but can u take Goku seriously in Funimation dub when he speaks Spanish..right when he had the spirit bomb in front of him..when one of the strongest villain in DBZ franchise is just there..about to be killed at any time..The entire hope of the Universe in now in his hands..He speaks SPANISH MAN!!! How lame is that? Goku..Sun Goku's Jap voice reveals his pure innocence, childlike behaviours..as well as an all-out emotional big kid..really..big Kid..

@BlackWall500 The complete DragonBall franchise feels soulful as well as epic, thanks to Akira Toriyama. His creations of excellent characters like Sun Goku, Vegeta, Sun Gohan, Trunks etc plus, incredible villains like Frieza, Cell & Majin Buu are definetly classics..One more thing, this anime was made 20 years back, but still impresses to this day, especially the animation & the music & voice acting..Everything was scored well in Jap Version...Long Live DBZ...

@BlackWall500 I am also competly dissapoi8nted with Kai, especially not including the Buu Saga...regardless of what it is, Toriyama did completed the Buu Saga, and Kai didn't fulfill their quotes as saying the "Toriyama's Cut"...DBZ is and will always be awesome!!!!

I think the English voices are good but the music sucked. It all sounded the same and was made on a low budget synthesizer. The Japanese score was made with an actual orchestra and instruments and fits the DBZ vibe better IMO.

@chris200830 Dragon Ball (I am including Z and GT) was aimed for kids. Even in Japan, with it uncut was still aimed for kids. It was just that Japan had different standards on what a kid show can and can't have than the United States.

You do realize that the whole story in the manga was just Dragon Ball like how all of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden was just Naruto.
