Its handy i guess, for people who want an ipod nano and get that as a bonus, but the quality is really quite shit, i would say its comparable to my friends Nokia N70 which records at 320-240 at 15fps, altho the nano probably shoots at 640-480 30fps? it looks ok on the nano but i got it on my laptop and you can immediatly tell that the video was taken on a cheap device.

That looks HD to me. How do you make your video fill the entire window. I thought you filmed this in HD. Is this from your webcam, is it HD?

colors don't pop at all with the new nano. upset cuz i was sort of interested- but i'll stick with the mino and 3GS.

also because it is so slim and small, it is easy to get your hand or finger in the way of the lens while taking pictures and videos. LOL

hey Dave. I played with the New Ipod Nano and I have only one issue:

1.) I don't like having to hold the Nano side ways to take video. It definitely looks obvious that you are taking a video even though the Nano much smaller than Flip.

*(2.) No HD

I think that this new Nano will Flip out of business. You can't beat it. Music, Videos, Pictures, and 8 to 16 gigs of storage. Wow. The Flip don't compare. Finally Apple has a product that offers more features for less than the competitors.

Thanks! I am going to hold off for now, I will stick with my Flip. But sometimes all it takes is for me to see the product in store to that "geek rush" and then I buy it!!

I think you should get the nano mainly because your replacing the ultra not hd, and the nano is SUBSTANTIALLY smaller

I would get the flip because Its meant for video. If you are looking to slim down then purchase a mino to record video. The Nano does not have good quality video compared to the Mino or Ultra so keep a video camera a video camera and a music player a music player

Personally, I was considering the Flip Ultra until Apple released the new iPod nano. Your decision is your's, but I'm in a similar boat and I'm going the iPod nano route. Hope that helps :)

you should get the CREATIVE VADO HD..very nice pocket camera...much better an compact then the mino

my opinion - the flip is meant for video, the iPod meant for Music, the quality might be just about the same, but save your money and keep the flip !
