When I tried ollieing down a 3 stair today, I was going super fast but I barely made the gap. Can someone please explain why that is happening? My ollies are pretty high and I can ollie down sets of small stairs but I always barely make it. Like this so people can see and I need help. Thank you!!

you dont need to go really fast to learn how to distance ollie. to distance ollie you have to learn to throw your momentum forward, and drag your foot farther up and bring the board with you as long as you can.

Stairs are completely different than flat gaps. Theres a drop when you're doing stairs, which results in more air time, thus resulting in more distance at a slower speed.

if you wanna go further but not have a risk(this is to newer people or even people who just need to work at distance).... try doin crosswalks on non busy streets... you just need to know how to ollie and work at the speed for your comfort... works great for other tricks too and if you really cant ollie far just use manhole covers, haha later... if i helped anyone who actually thought they needed this vid

Sometimes the trucks on new boards stick in certain spots, causing your board to dip a little bit and turn when it rolls on its own. It'll start to loosen up after using it for a while. so skate more and practice dude
