As for King, because of the organizations WWE is teamed up with, PLUS not having a young girlfriend that's part of the WWE, we won't see much from him anytime soon. I remember that simpsons episode Doc Pepper mentioned, that's the episode where Sideshow Bob reunites with his brother, Cecil, who wanted to be Krusty's Sidekick, and when the audition failed that included a pie gag, Krusty said "Free comedy tip slick, the pie gag is funny when the sap's got dignity, like that guy" then he points to Bob and well we know the rest.
