If you want to clear your face up wash your face real good through day in warm water then clean it with Achol or bleach and don't put no.... oil lotion nothing on it and when Yu get a zit put tooth paste on it and Biotin an lots of water is great.....
You should use toothpaste I know it sounds weird... But it works...I had the same prob as u until I talked to my science professors n told me there is some ingredient in toothpaste that helps decrease zits n black heads n you don't have to be consistent with it. If you put it on b4 you go to sleep n wash it off you'll automatically see the difference! Sorry I forgot the ingredient's name but use the white toothpaste the mint and other weird flavors have less of the ingredient and may make you b
U r beutiful and I'm loving the hair but I have to agree with some of the others...water water water and a lot of ppl sleep on proactive becuz its so commercial but I'm black and I have used it and I say within 3weeks I had clear skin but if ur not big on facial treatments go to ur local pharmacy and get u some vitamins with biotin in it biotin helps with hair skin and nails and if u eat a lot of meat that could b a problem as well good luck!
hey great growth !!! i just want to add to ur acne troubles... it helps if you drink half your body weight in oz daily and eat apples at least an apple a day ! and use whatever it is that the dr prescribed and goodluck!
Hey Sis im a new subscriber to ur page, and i wanted to say that all you need is to lessen your meat intake and increase your spring water intake to 100 percent. The acne is just your body trying to get rid of all the waste in ur system and is trying to balance the body out. Our bodies are 85 percent water and PH balance is a major factor on what our health is and should be. Also research Kangen Water. Your hair looks great being natural, now its time for you to be NATURAL. Your a Queen. Peace
Im glad you have high self esteem, I started using acne free and it works really well. Now I'm using african black soap. How did the black soap work for you, did you not like it?? Yep your hair is growing alot! Its fun to the see the progress after someone does the big chop
It looks like you have a nice curl pattern. Stay strong because its gonna be gorgeous when it grows out. And I'm like that too when my cycle is coming on, during ovulation it gets crazy. I use black soap to wash, and 2.5% benzoyl peroxide (alot of it) then I follow up with AMBI moisturizer. My sister got steroid from the dermatologists and it helped with her acne, but had alot of side effects. Im sticking with my black soap. LOL
my acne has flared up since i've gone natural and i think it is bc of the natural oils and products that I use. i use to have clear skin and I HOPE my natural hair (healthy choice move) is not causing a flare up of acne.
Happy that everything is good with you...just subscribed! And I hope you get a good prescription from the doctor...adult acne is no joke..my mom had adult acne and the doctor prescribed something good (I can't remember what it is lol) and it worked better than anything else. Can't wait to see your other vids
You are doing fabulous! Wonderful! Brave you are! By next year at the same time, your hair will be on your shoulders if you choose to keep the length! Acne! Yes, I had severe acne. I was placed on Accutane!
I feel you on the acne...I am 35 and still have it, had it since I was 11. I, like you have tried just about everything, including prescription Retin-A, Accutane) and nothing has worked. I have been using Neutrogena Oil Free Acne wash (Orange and white tube, not pump) for the last two months with very minimal flare-ups. I moisturize with CVS brand oil free acne moisturizer and it has been working so far. Congrats on your new place and your hair growth. Just did my big chop 3 days ago!! Yay me!!
@kamica1975 Congrats on your BC, did you post a video? I'll peek when I'm not at work. So you're saying that the OTC stuff worked better for you than the Rx stuff??
@jineanet yes, i have my first vlog up now :). Also, for me, yes Rx was worse than OTC. My face couldn't take the harshness of the Retin-A regime and the Accutane was too harsh(I was very sick 1 month after use with worse acne) I do know others who it worked great for, I won't put their products down, they just didn't work for me. I would talk to a dermatologist. Mine is great and works with me when I'm stubborn :) which is most of the time!! My routine is working right now, hope it continues!!
Great apartment! I can't wait until I get my first spot lol! I have bad acne as well and it seems a bit backwards for skin care (but works) but have you tried the Oil Cleansing Method?I found it here on YT and It's helped me a great deal. Take care sis :)
looks very nice...I have a friend who had very bad acne and she tried everything and finally went to a dermatologist and her face cleared up so quickly with what was prescribed. So if you tried everything then you need to see a dermy. Love the apt
I'm glad you were not harmed in the fire, and good that you were able to save some of your things. I did my BC in Dec 09, so we're right in there together. I like to twist mine on dry hair, with honey wax, let it stay twisted for a day or two, depending on how it looks, then untwist. I just put mine in cornrows tonight, so I'm gonna take them out tomorrow and see how that looks. Trial and error honey.
@NgoziLady I just did some cornrows on my wet hair last night and hated it when I took it out this morning. What's the difference that you find with twisting or braiding on dry hair instead of wet hair?
@jineanet Well I've never done the cornrows on wet hair, but I got a lot of volume on dry hair. With the twist on dry hair, it came out really wavy. And I get more lenght with dry hair, you know how hair shrinks when its wet.
Have you ever tried Clinique 3 step Skincare. It really helped me and I've been using it for years. I've tried proactive and all kinds of other products but that is my miracle skincare. I don't know if this will help you but it really helped me.
@foxyone2 Thanks for the tip... I've heard of Cliniqu and I heard they're a great brand but I thought they only did makeup and stuff... shows how often I make it to the mall!! I'll check it out.
a have a couple of hairstyles on my page if you'd like to try...you can also check out some of my fav girls look for kinkycurlycoil and ashleystyle, simplyounique, and blackonyx77. Try some tea tree oil on the pimples it could probably dry em out overnight, i tried it and it somewhat worked, the smell is kinda harsh though, i've learned to live with my acne at this point, i dont have many bumps but i do have a lot of scars, and shea butter seems to lighten them just a bit. Good Luck girl :)
Ur hair looks great . . . I too live in FL. I'll be doing my BC in July I hope u subscribe to my page so u can watch my BC and give me some advice (really need). Anywho what products do u use in ur hair because the heat in FL?
@VEGANNATURL *Woop Woop* for Florida!! I'll tune in. Right now, all I use is Dove Moisture Therapy for Co-wash, Shea Butter and some type of gel and/or pomade. The strength of gel/pomade I use depends on the style but I love Motions Shine Pomade
awesome! I am trying to get my hair to grow too! check out my channel. I have acne too and I did a video on acne skincare!

@fbrowngirl You could have something with that. I've noticed that before too, especially with synthetic hair
