its a game not life i mean thats a cool idea but it at least needs a map menu so u dont get lost the enemys arnt scary there annoying and ugly and its like its a fucking marathon it should be called silent hill the marathon and ice isnt scary nothing in this game is scary its nothing like the other games they took out all the horror and replaced it with ice and stupidity homecoming was to combat addicted but shattered memories is a fucking race it should be half combat half running

This game is meant to be scary in the way that you can't fight back. Not having the ability to fight back makes you helpless, and being helpless leads to being scared. Yes there were some things that they could have changed to fit the original better, such as fog, but the game is as it says, a shattered memory. Its not meant to be exactly like the original, its supposed to "reinvent" the game and the way it plays.

@Knightchrim well there should at least be some combat involved being helpless is dumb i get its a remake and its suppose to be diffrent but come on its nothing like the orignal why are all the enemys the same

running and ice arent scary and what happened to all the bodys hanging from walls blood an gore and shit the other games where a lot scarier its like a censored version of a new silent hill game it needs to be remade again

this isnt even a silent hill game its haunted ice monster town

Okay no offense, but have you actually played it? Secondly everything doesn't have to be actiony and gory to make it scary. The game is quite fun in my opinion and it is rather creepy at parts although once you figure out that the monsters only come out in the ice nightmares then it gets less scary. The thing about the ice is though, that when it appears, you know you are in danger. The ice itself isn't scary, its what you know happens when it appears.

well in the other games your always in danger the ice is just stupid an has no real purpose of being there

I don't remember the guy from SH 1 having glasses but there's some really cool concepts behind this game. I was almost going to skip this game after reading a few reviews but it looks like they've got some bad information.

Holding Wii-light in the middle of my living room, nobody around w/ the lights turned off. This is going to be awesome. I'm getting it the 2nd I beat SH 2.
